We were so disappointed & frustrated with our most recent purchase/delivery. I purchased a King mattress/box spring/frame. I specifically asked our Sales Associate if they would take the old mattress/box spring to which she replied, "Yes, free of charge!". On the day of delivery at 9:00am two men showed up & moved my old mattress & box spring upright, blocking my bathroom. I could not be of much help to them because I had knee surgery two days prior. As they assembled the frame they informed me it was the incorrect size & that I needed to call Customer Service. I told them they needed to take the old mattress/box spring; they told me no and left. I called Customer Service & was told that they would have to schedule a "Rescue Delivery" to assemble the frame. She told me it was in fact the correct frame but the "3rd party delivery men" did not know how to put it together. She then told me they would not take the old mattress because there was an ink stain on it & it was considered bio-hazard. This disclaimer was NEVER disclosed to us. I insisted the delivery men come back; she refused & told me that I would have to wait until 8pm (11 hours later). I called again & told a new person my dilemma. She told me that I needed to wait until 8pm for the Rescue Delivery & then a 2nd driver would come "take pictures of the old mattress.". I am not sure why pictures needed to be taken. I was left at 10am with my old mattress blocking my bathroom/closet/dresser, a half assembled frame strewn across by bedroom floor & the new mattress/box spring still wrapped in plastic. Not having any luck over the phone I called a taxi & was dropped off at the Monrovia Store. I crutched my way to Customer Service & requested a manager. After much arguing the manager Alexus, she arranged 1 delivery; she told me he would assemble the frame & she was POSITIVE he would take the old mattress/box spring. I waited around all day & finally the delivery man arrived. He assembled the frame & then tried to leave, refusing to take the old mattress. Furious I called Customer Service and they told me that because Michael (delivery man) was 3rd party they could not make him take the mattress. Just when he was leaving I noticed he ripped a hole in the BRAND NEW mattress. I had to schedule a whole new delivery 2 days later. This entire situation is an embarrassment to Living Spaces. I find it very dangerous that the delivery men left my bathroom blocked. My medical supplies & medications were in the bathroom & I was unable to shower or use the restroom until they came back at 4:00pm. Luckily I am young & was able to do without until they returned but if I were elderly &/or handicapped this could have been detrimental.

Absolutely awful experience. I made a purchase in store for a King bed and a twin on full bunkbed. In store they had issues with their system that wouldnt take my payment. I was told on Monday someone will call to collect the payment. No one called. I called Tuesday to find out what happened. I was supposed to have a delivery on Wednesday they then told me that they couldnt deliver for my scheduled delivery due to the payment issue. I then had someone named Jeremiah tell me they could do a delivery Wednesday night from 6-12am I agreed. I then called back for a more convenient time. I scheduled with someone named Christine for Saturday from 8-3pm. I then called Friday night to confirm the time only to find out that person didnt do their job and schedule my delivery. I then spoke to a manager named Rene who apologized for the lack of customer service and issued me a $200.00 gift card for all the inconvenience and said someone will do the delivery Saturday and that this will be all taken care of. My delivery came today and the guys were great Miguel was amazing. However the people who loaded the truck not my drivers incorrectly gave me a full on full bunk bed and I ordered a twin on full. I then made them leave the full portion because my kids needed somewhere to sleep. I called customer service and told them they messed up yet again. And told them I expect this to be corrected. All he told me on the phone was Im sorry. What good is Im sorry. You messed up again and I have two kids not one who needs a bed to sleep in. I asked to speak with a manager and he said it would take 24 to 48 hours. I called back said I wanted to speak to a manager. A manager wasnt avaliable yet again and was told by another representative that I will have a delivery for tomorrow on Sunday from 8-3pm for the correction of the bed. I then called back to speak to a manager to let them know whats gone on today and no manager yet again and now was informed that I will not have a delivery till Monday if I want to confirm. I have a job I work and dont have the time to keep being inconvenienced by Living Spaces. I said dont schedule a delivery I only want to speak to a manager. What a horrible experience I pay money for a product and expect all people to follow through and not 1 person did their job correctly other then my drivers. I will go on all social media sites and let everyone know about my experience with this company. I still dont have my order corrected and I paid money for this. I should have just cancelled. I will never recommend Living Spaces and I will let everyone know at my place of employment what a horrible company this is.

Zero stars... Buyer beware! So the sales sound good until you get around to buying something then the hell starts. First experience there, we bought a new couch only to be told that warranty didnt cover stuff like stains and wear and tear. So immediately thoughts were that it wasnt worth it. Got swindled in for a dining table that seemed like a good deal, only to learn about the warranty for items did cover stuff such as that. Of course, since we already bought the couch we couldnt add the warranty. First red flag went off, employees are badly trained and dont know what theyre talking about. So whatever, we take the warranty at a loss. We needed the table so we went forward with the purchase because again it was a good deal. We were then told that the item would be ready for pickup in two weeks. So, two weeks pass and we were ready for pickup. Being proactive as we are, we called before going only to find out that the table is on back order and will not be ready for another 10 days, maybe. And to top it off, this was our second call after being on hold for 20+minutes. Not only is this super inconvenient and unprofessional, but Christmas is in less than 10 days and according to the customer service representative we will not have a table. Her solution was to throw in delivery free of charge to our home. This is not a customer recovery solution. We dont need delivery and assembly. If we did, we would have purchased it in the first place. So then of course we wanted to get a manager involved, but conveniently a manager was not available. Now we are awaiting a call back, which hasnt happened and its already been awhile. They never even called to let us know that it wouldnt be available. We would have drove over for nothing. This is super frustrating. I hope nobody else has to go through this and thats why Im writing a review. Dont get tricked into coming in for the deals. As you can see on other reviews, they dont seem to care about their customers what so ever. I am truly disappointed and will not be doing any further business with them. I wish I read the reviews first.
