The management seem pretty laid-back, and the cashiers and other employees all have their own personalities and attitudes—theyre not always stoked to be there, but theyre genuine and they work hard. Sometimes the lines are ridiculous, but that comes with the territory I guess. Other than the employees, its (almost) always clean and well-stocked... [Except: when I was looking at the chip aisle and moved to raise my right foot to step forward. It remained affixed to the floor, along with my left foot, so, feet firmly planted, I fell forward, hard, on my hands and knees, sending my "totes" full of groceries airborne. Apparently, something had been spilled, and promptly ignored, by a customer or employee or both. Another customer said I should sue. If I had the heart to face a corporate behemoth like Vons, I would I have. But I was already embarrassed.]

Good points: The staff are really nice and helpful and the store is clean and well stocked. Areas for improvement: There are some suspicious people who hang around outside the store, especially at night. The store could do with a security guard who watches outside the door and in the parking lot. I think its a bit overpriced too. I always spend less when I shop at Ralphs and at Trader Joes. Its very cold in the meat and dairy section which is good for keeping the food fresh but my kids always complain its freezing. There are rarely enough checkers on and the lines tend to be really long during the busy times.

Very nice/friendly employees. Store overall is good. However, the service at the registers is consistently the worst I have ever seen in any store in my entire life. Day to day/week to week/month to month. This is NOT an exaggeration. It is quite obvious and apparent that they simply do not care; nor have any leadership on the front end. It is sad and frankly>I do not get it. Going through a register at any store is your last impression which is critical. Go figure>because I cant.

Always out of something. Doesnt carry basic items you would expect. Every time Im in line, theres somebody arguing about a missed labeled priced item. Its not the customers faults. This store is full of mislabeled items! The next time I go in there and have to argue with them over a mislabeled item, Im going to call Department of Weights and measures on them. Also, I have purchased fresher produce at the nearby 7-Eleven then I have at this store.

This is one of the worse markets I have ever been to. They never have products I need or want. The lines at the check stands are always outrageous and its a long wait even for the express check out. Not to mention that their prices are ridiculous. If you have any other options near you I would take it. The reason i gave it two stars instead of one is the fact that their products are fresh and their bakery section offers good desserts.

They wouldnt sell me beer because the lady said I didnt look the same as the picture which is understandable. The problem was that she asked me for my birthday and I gave it to them correctly and the cashier still denied me beer. To top it off they called the police because I was proving them wrong and the cashier had the nerve to tell the officers I said my birthday wrong which is why she denied me, overall worst experience ever.

Have you been to Vons? Then you know what to expect here. This isnt one of the better ones, but its far from the worst. Decent vegetable and fruit selection. Wine, beer, and alcohol section is a good size. Meat counter is a bit small. Other stuff is standard. Has a Wells Fargo ATM and (I think) a Red Box.

Great customer service and a great inventory for coupon shoppers. I am not a regular shopper because I live further out towards the valley. But I make sure to stop by when I am in the area. Meat department is great, theyre awesome when requesting special cuts. Always happy staff. Clean and neat every visit.

This Vons location is not as large as some of the other stores but you can find everything you need here. The employees are very friendly and helpful. There are some employees that have been working there for years. The parking can be a little challenging here since they have a small lot.

It is kind of small grocery store with limited products available compare to other Vons with more variety. This one doesnt have Starbucks or Panda Express but it is fast when checking out. Also there are two Wells Fargo ATM available inside the store and pretty close to I-405 and 118 freeway.

Vons has always been the most pricey of the larger food stores. This location will keep them in the lead. $1.99 per pound for naval oranges. Each orange weighed a pound or better. Thats just a mild example of the overpriced experience that I encountered during my recent visit . Bon Appetit!

I DONT SHOP AT VONS (FOR VARIOUS REASONS) BUT EVERYONE HAS A CHOICE OF WHICH STORE TO GO TO.. WHEN THEY DO WANT TO GO TO A SPECIFIC STORE.. & THIS IS THE VONS FOR ME. THEY ALWAYS HAVE WHAT I NEED AND MORE... PLUS ITS A CLEAN STORE AND SET UP WITH GOOD PEOPLE AND SELF CHECK OUT WHEN NEEDED.

I like this Vons but they keep it so cold in the store I cant be in there too long. So I dont do my weekly shopping there. I have complained by calling, I complained to cashiers and they just say yeah and shrug their shoulders (while they are wearing a jacket inside).

I went to buy baby formula . They had a lot of the Enfamil formula but the one I needed and to make things worse the whole time I was looking for the formula there was this loud alarm ringing it will only stop if I moved away from the formulas ugh sooo annoying

I used to come to this vons because it was so close to my house, but now it has become a spot for solicitors and homeless people. This vons has degraded so much over the years, now i go to the vons on san fernando mission blvd, it is so much better.

Our local Vons. We dont go here often as we should, but for some odd reason, they changed their chocolate chip cookie recipe. It tastes strange now. The environment reminds me of WFM. The employees are super friendly there.

Always good produce , usually hard to find someone to help you , but overall good prices , fresh produce , good selection of bread and pastries. They have a variety of dog food for dog owners which is great. Ample parking

Store is clean but this place never has advertised items!!!! So frustrsting bcuz they advertise great prices on meat and seafood to lure u in and then never have any..weak!!! Go to Vallarta instead

Ever since the Ralphs closed we have been coming here because its close. Lines are usually long and cashiers seem to move slower the longer the lines get. And the prices are higher than Ralphs.

Everyone loves Vons ! A wide variety of delicious frozen meals, healthy food, amazing prices, and happy workers! My only complaint is that the selection isnt as great as Whole Foods or Jewel.

The feeling when you first walk in is one of oldness. The floor is a bit warped, the lighting is dim, etc. But its still Vons, so expect a nice selection and higher prices than, say, Ralphs.
