Was shopping there yesterday and had the misfortune to meet the new owners. We had noticed a scanning error and drew it to the cashiers attention. The cashiers called the owner to let them know the error that was made by the store. He REFUSED to stand up to the error that had been made by his employees and would not honor the price !!!!! After listening to his rude disrespectful comments, we walked out without our grocery cart full of purchases that had been rung up. It was a good store before these two purchased it!!!!! MY RECCOMENDATION DONT SHOP AT THIS MILPITAS GROCERY OUTLET. and if you do.................... Be very careful about the products you buy, I found today moldy chedder cheese packages. In the past have found moldy bread, products with expired expiration dates. Frozen items that had been left out of the freezer too long and then returned to the freezer..... NASTY products on the shelf... But let The Buyer Beware. Be alert and check the package out and if possible the contents.....

I am very upset ... The person before me was buying expired cheese at full price it should of been marked down if not for free. My second issue is that you guys had signs for a certain price on beer. I bring it the register it wont ring up. I go get a different box and I point out that all the beer is really cheap the worker goes and looks and says its wrong . I said ok thats fine but you guys should give me the beer for the price that the sticker says and change it now that I have pointed it out. But instead of that happening Im told I need to pay full price and its a vendors fault. It doesnt and shouldnt matter whose fault it is. I should of got the beer for the displayed price. But that didnt happen I am formally complaining about this.... Since my review I have been contacted by the owners and they have made an effort to fix the problem and more then made up for it with a fast response and honorable way to accommodate me for the mistake so thank you

It is outlet. So expect low quality and about to expire items. That is ok. The bad is : There is a Old lady named Rashmi in checkout. If you dont watch she will edit the prices, bill the same item twice. When it happened to me for third time, I caught her red handed, billing me twice for my room spray. When I complained to her manager who acted as good cop, she apologized, but searched my cart to find out if I am hiding the other room spray of the two displayed in the bill.

I like this store for the rare organic options at really affordable prices. When you shop at grocery outlet and other discounted grocery store you need to understand the products (produce and meat) are close to expiration date and are not the freshest so buy at your own risk. I usually only pick up things like frozen food, dry goods or baking goods. Theyre clean and usually organized in a way that you can easily find things.

If you can deal with the hit-or-miss nature of the inventory, this is the go to place for grocery shopping and party-prep. I like the meat prices here - its nice to save ~30% on the same high quality meat I can get at Safeway or elsewhere if Im going to make a big batch of chili, or some pulled pork.

I ran to this store few times only because its the closest grocery store. However, the produce is not fresh and some items are already expired.. So if you got to shop here just make sure you read the package. I understand the prices are lower, but safety and health is first.

They have a variety of different foods lots of wines.. Kenai Safeway way more money than going to a regular grocery store or even to Walmart.. Walmart has great prices but when it comes to saving a lot of money Grocery Outlet is the place to be !!!

The goods offered here vary from week to week, so you can never be 100% sure they will have what you need. The prices are always great though. Just be wary of looming expiration dates.

Surprisingly, they have gluten free items. Though you cant find everything, their deals are great.
