Ive always had a pleasant experience at this Big 5 with their warm and knowledgeable staff. The other day I went in to purchase running shoes and not only did they have my size (womens 11!), the man who helped me took me through each shoe I was interested in, telling me which was good for what. He knew how they should fit and what they should feel like. Another salesperson helped me with an iPhone armband (only $10 and great!). Basically, every salesperson I came into contact with was a joy to talk to. Their clearance shows were even organized, when does that ever happen?

Good prices on sporting goods. Mediocre service in the shoe department. Returning items is a hassle and the manager glared at me the whole time.

Employees seem annoyed to have to interact with you. The clothing sizes on hangars were mislabeled, and they dont have a lot of selection.
