Awful experience all around and ended-up paying an extra $50 for an installation service that we never received. Four issues: 1. Charging upfront without service: We sign-up for window blind installation and were charged the entire cost ($120) upfront. (I in my naivete should have tagged this as a red flag, but didnt). 2. Installer up-sold more blinds during measurement: Although, we had taken window measurements and brought the blinds, the installer insisted to come for measurement and asked us to return our blinds and asked us to purchase more blinds (i.e. incur more costs). 3. No installer coordination: The installer coordinator at Home Depot was apparently on vacation for 2 weeks and didnt schedule our blind installation for up to a week. We called up the store close to 5 times with no resolution. 4. No money back: When the installer didnt show-up for a week, we called the store to cancel the installation. At that time, we werent told that we wouldnt get the full refund back. When no credit showed up on my credit card the next day, I called the store manager and was told that we would be getting on a partial refund of $70. In the meantime, we already paid another installer $120 (the original cost charged by Home depot) for installing the blinds. Bottom-line, avoid this store like plague unless you are game for some pathetic service, poor communication, and rip-off tactics.

The best Home Depot I have been to. The employees are eager to help you and they actually get someone to help you if they cant help you themselves. I was offered help from the time I walked in and when I was at the parking lot loading my truck. The Home Depot in Martinez is a lot farther than the Hercules one but well worth it. I cant even get anyone to help me at the Hercules one, let alone finding someone who knows anything

Was okay until I ran into the most obnoxious employee and I wonder why Martinez had a bad reputation for going down and with their stores obviously between that and the citizens that actually live there .Are morons and idiots and drug dealers and whatnot...

I usually dread going into any Home Depot. This one isnt so bad. I can usually get someone to help me after tracking an employee down. Overall, I get pretty good service and dont have to wait too long.

Shares a parking lot with Wal Mart, formally costco, this place will never die! Great staff, and has all the items that Home Depot is known to have. Free coffee at 7am!

One of the few HD stores around where you can find enough employees on the aisles to help you and answew questions. Not always though... Lots of parking available.
