Im usually hesitant to give 5-star reviews to businesses, but after my positive experience with Josh, Cynthia, and Adriana at store 6603, Id be remiss if I didnt publicly let everyone know how helpful they were. My wife and I bought a washer / dryer combo here last month and a factor in our decision to go ahead with the purchase was that wed qualified for a $200 manufacturer rebate from H&E. Josh was very kind, transparent, and genuine throughout the entire sales process. After buying the washer and dryer, as I was filling out the rebate form, I noticed that I had to be an actual H&E utilities customer to secure the rebate. Since my wife and I live in on-campus housing and my university takes care of our utilities, I discovered that we hadnt in fact qualified for the $200 rebate. Feeling frustrated, I contacted Home Depot that same day and told Josh what. Admittedly, I probably came off as hostile, but Josh was compassionate, and worked with his supervisor Cynthia to rectify the situation. Rather then telling me "tough luck; take it up with the manufacturer," they agreed to refund $100 to my debit card. Adriana was helpful in this stage of the process and worked with me to ensure that I received my refund. Overall, Ive been very satisfied with my Home Depot experience, largely thanks to Josh (especially), Cynthia, and Adriana. Keep up the great work, guys.

It was terrible experience at this location!! My husband and I bought a build your own book shelf from here. When we came home to build the book shelf, we noticed that the screws were in a few separate ziplock bags. We had a feeling it was a returned item but we were not wanting to put everything back into the box so we decided to go to the home Depot near us, Foster City and got the missing screw. When we came home to build, even worse things were noticed. The wooden boards were scratched, there was a sticker mark and those missing screws were already inserted the boards, so deeply that we couldnt take them out. It was NOT REBUILDABLE!!! I was so unsatisfied and called to speak to the manager and of course, they were not kind. When the manager, Daniel got on the phone, I explained him what happened and all he said was did you want to bring it in and exchange it? I said I didnt have time to go all the way and told me to just go to the home Depot near by and exchange it. He was not kind, not really considerable of the customer and I was shocked. Went to the foster city home depot instead and they were so much more helpful and understanding, even willing to give us discount. Wow, Palo Alto need to learn the customer service from them. I will not go back to Palo Alto!

I had my sons 3rd birthday party here! It was the first birthday party they have ever hosted, and the store employees were very excited, helpful, enthusiastic, polite, creative, and even generous. I pitched them the idea, they jumped at the opportunity to do the party. Basically they let us have the training room, someone to help us with the wood working project, all the project kits and tools and aprons for 11 kids, they set up balloons and helped me hang a banner. They had someone dress up as Homer (the Home Depots mascot) and greet the kids. They allowed us to have food and cake and even helped us clean everything up! They made the party fun and EASY. I absolutely love this store! Just a note: for anyone with children, they host a free kid workshop on the first Saturday of every month in the morning 9-12.

Just terrible culture towards their customers! Ordered my doors there 75 days ago. Twice they delivered them damaged, still waiting. But the worst thing about this particular shop management and culture: they never follow up. I spent cumulatively hours on the phone with them, being bounced back and forth. Literally they promised to call me back on more than 10 different occasions and NEVER did it. And the question I have is as simple as when my doors will be delivered. They dont know. They dont care. Escalated to their manager Pamela Dupont-Wallace. She personally promised to call back three times with the same result.

Bad customer service ,if you find someone to help you are lucky . it is getting worse over time as they try to make more profits ,they also raise pricing and no longer competitive .Many things are out of stock as they try to keep inventory low , special services dep is very slow , you can easy wait more than an hour especially after 4 pm. Try to find someone in doors and windows dept on the weekend . I have better experience in HD Milpitas store and even better service in Lowes. HD need to shake up this store management to give service silicon we pay so much for. If you want better pricing go to HD supply Santa Clara

Rude and incompetent employees. We bought a plant that needed to be wrapped up to put in the car, and it took almost 20 minutes just to get someone to help us out... except the help was giving us some plastic bags and tape and telling us to do it ourselves. One of the employees got on the announcement system multiple times, clearly frustrated and telling someone to help waiting customers at the customer service desk. Another employee didnt even speak english, and when we asked a simple question we basically got a blank stare. Take your business elsewhere, this place is a joke.

I have gone into the EPA Home Depot several times recently and I have been impressed by the customer service. The people are friendly and happy to help me. Its quite a change from the past and most HDs. I now prefer them to some of my local hardware stores. All the issues of parts in wrong bins, erratic stock and customers who leave the place a mess still apply, but thats the nature of the beast. The staff do what they can and make it a better experience.

They have almost everything you need to fix your home. Their prices are reasonable. Thats if you can find what you want. While the staff is helpful it is sometimes very difficult to find anybody. And without help its next to impossible to find some things. I had this experience this week looking for an mr16 socket for bi-pin 12v halogen bulbs.

Horrible customer service. Total waste of time doing business with this store. We placed an order and paid for the goods. In a 3 weeks time after endless phone exchanges a store manager called and said that our order was canceled. We have not received our money back yet. Im contacting Home Depot HQ to file a formal complaint.

If you dont know exactly what you are looking for, it is very hard to find it. Very hard to find people to help you and then very often they know very little. I use it when I just want something that I know that they will have and in some instances like lumber, it works but the quality is not there.
