Rainbow acres is the ONLY place I go to buy fresh squeezed juice when I am in Marina Del Rey. This no thrills store is what Whole Foods would look like without the fancy decorations. This store has a small kitchen with a menu loaded with fresh, healthful choices. Quinoa, brown rice, tempeh? Yep. This place has it all. The staff is really friendly and will suggest food/juice based on your taste preferences. The only thing I would change is to offer larger juice selections. The currently selection offers 12 ounces and 16 ounces. I would love to have a 32 ounce option as opposed to purchasing two 16 ounces.

I regularly shop here and at the larger Rainbow Acres nearby (13208 W. Washington Bl., Los Angeles, CA 90066-5106). I love both stores. They have products not carried either by the big, health-oriented chains like Wild Oats and Whole Foods, or by some smaller co-op stores. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I often put in special orders, and I appreciate the good, prompt service I get. On top of that, I can always find a tempting lunch in the cafe. Rainbow Acres makes it a pleasure to shop local!

Not only are the prices significantly higher than the Rainbow Acres on Washington, the staff is rude. For example, the 2, young cashiers were too busy talking about a very negative topic to stop and bag my groceries. I paid 2 times as much for food AND had to listen to them at the cashier station AND bag my own groceries? NO THANKS! Get a clue about customer service. The other Rainbow should not associate themselves with this MDR location.
