I would describe this as a Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Hybrid with it’s own unique "farmers market-esque" flavor. They cater to a range of customer types offering a mix of specialty health/gourmet items, general brand name items and sprouts brand items. There is a deli, a small meat and seafood department and a nice size vitamins, herbs and cosmetics department can be likened to the Whole Body department at Whole Foods. Their bulk dried good section is pretty substantial with granolas, whole grains, seeds, nuts, trail mixes, legumes, dried fruit and chocolate covered nuts/fruit. I am a predominately Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods shopper so I consider sprouts a great option when I can’t get to either of those. It doesn’t quite meet the same standards in terms of taste or pricing as TJs, and it doesn’t carry as wide of a selection of items as Whole Foods particularly in the produce, meat and dairy departments. Though it’s largely a healthy/natural/gourmet grocery store it doesn’t carry as much Organic, local, fair trade, free-range/grass-fed products as I would imagine. However, they do have many great items. They have a selection of frozen wild/game meats like bison, wild boar, ostrich, and other rarities which are hard to find so I was really impressed with that. Their pricing is average, you can find all the supplements and most alternative to pharmaceuticals you need.

Great farmers market with excellent prices on produce, double-ad Wednesdays (coming and going circulars are both active every Wednesday), high-quality meats and premade goods, and a wide selection of organic goods that (usually) wont break the bank. If you like cooking with fresh veggies like I do, this is absolutely the store for you. This is my grocery store of choice. However, I do have to subtract one star. I love Sprouts, but I would love it even more if they sold run-of-the-mill grocery items that werent marked up for being specialty/organic/etc. items. Lets face it, sometimes you just need a bag of all-purpose flour or brown sugar and dont want to break the bank for em. I also wish this store had a wider selection of fresh herbs NOT confined to plastic packaging: dill, chives, and others are sold in this manner. Long story short, check this store out. But be prepared for chaos and lots of lines if you decide to stop in right after your 5 PM shift ends... This little bird would say its worth it, though. :)

Much better than Pavilions, which is nearby. My usual routine when I come here is to order a sandwich from the deli ($5 for the BOMBEST sandwich ever) and then do my grocery shopping while I wait for my dinner. The produce here is consistently good, the beer selection, although small, is surprisingly good, the brands they carry are great, and the overall vibe is really good. I dont know what it is exactly, but shopping here is much less stressful and frustrating than Vons or Ralphs. The only major complaint I have is that every time Ive been here, the lines are very long. Im not sure what the solution to that would be, but it can be pretty frustrating. Pro tip: Get the gummy bears they have here. They are actually the best ones Ive ever had.... and I know my gummy bears.

I love this Sprouts. They just built it so its all decked out and modern. However, their parking lot is tiny and pretty annoying, especially during lunch hour. I always come here and get their sandwiches because their ingredients taste great. Walking into this place is always a pleasure because you can smell the fresh baked cookies in the air, and its so open-spaced that you dont get claustrophobic trying to do your grocery shopping. They also have unique, healthy, trendy ingredients that I like to try out. Some negatives though are the cash registers (which take FOREVER. At least 10-15 minutes every time I try to check out). Their flower area is also very minimal. But Im not sure Sprouts touts themselves as florists.

I love Sprouts! They have a great selection of everything in the store that you need and more. Its almost like a cheaper version of Whole Foods but better. Ive never had a customer service issue. Everyone is really nice. Their weekly ad deals are great. Great selection of bulk items, organic, grass-fed, and vegan items. This particular Sprouts has a poké bar to make your own bowls. I feel happy grocery shopping here. Much better than other chain grocery stores. This location is in a traffic filled area off two main streets, but with plenty of parking. I highly recommend grocery shopping at any Sprouts in general. Great selection of supplements and vitamins as well.

Sprouts is weird. They have a pretty good prepared foods case, and a really good bakery and bread section. The butcher? Downright good. The pre cut meat? Great! Half chickens, smaller cuts, perfect for couples. The produce? Not fancy, but always good. Bulk foods (those scary bins)? Amazing! Cornmeal! Granola! Different granola! So... why not 5 stars? Dr, Pepper. Sprouts doesnt have a vice section. Sure, theres good craft beers (seriously, selection is solid), but my vices are sugar, salt and caffeine, and Sprouts cant help you there. Come for a $4 custom sandwich, hit the BevMo next door for a cold, refreshing Dr. Pepper and some Cheetos.

Reasonably priced organic products and great vitamin/personal care section. The time you go makes a huge difference. If you go during the week from 4-7 or on the weekends from 11-4 you should be prepared to wait. Dont get all banged up when there are 100+ people in the store and you go to check out and it takes a little bit (welcome to living with a few million people). The checkers are always friendly and the managers are helpful when you have an issue. I recommend this place for reasonably priced produce at reasonable prices.

I cant tell you how over-rated this place is. Everyone who comes here seems to think that this is Farmers Market quality produce, but its not! Its likened to fruit you buy at 7 Eleven. Melons are tasteless; Tomatoes are green; Apples are small. Dont get me started on the lines and parking. When youre just trying to get some fruit and veggies for the week, you dont want to spend 2hours trying to find parking and then waiting to check out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! The Pavilions down the street has fresher produce.

I love Sprouts but lately Ive noticed a bad change in the Culver City store regarding their customer service and deli department. I dont mind paying more money for quality and thats why I shop at Sprouts. However, these past couple of months Ive noticed bad smells and slimy textures on the meat (Sprouts chicken and steak). Not to mention, the slow service in the sandwich/soup department is even worse. The employees act like they dont want to help the customers. I wonder if there was a change of manager...

Very nice place to shop! Clean, friendly environment. Before visiting this Sprouts, Id never been to one and the experience just won me over. The prices are affordable, the quality of the food is high, and they have great sales. Everything is geared towards being healthy and natural to the point where there is a vitamin and wellness section in the store. One cool little tidbit is that they sell raw spices/herbs for your cooking by the pound. I think this is the way all grocery stores need to be. :)

This market is a good option but its overpriced for what it is and not visually enticing for me. Theres no good music its a regular market with healthy options. All though I have not eaten their ready-made food, the selection is not as vast as Whole Foods nor is it presented in a way that looks as enticing. That being said its probably healthier than Whole Foods being that most of Whole Foods is not made in Whole Foods or is actually "whole food". Im not sure what sprouts needs.
