Inquired on an e price for a new toyota model. The lady was very nice and sent me a great offer for a new vehicle. I thought working with someone before arriving would help, it did not. I arrived just after 4pm and met with a sales person. He was busy selling a car and helping me at the same time. I was told the vehicle was detailed and ready to go before I arrived, emails confirming this.. We wait 10minutes and the wrong car pulls up, the nightmare just started... We wait another 10minutes since the car I wanted was in storage after I was told it was detailed and ready to go.. I drive the car and we decide lets get it done. We sit down and wait for our sales person to get the numbers printed out. He disappears for 30minutes, helping someone else at this time.. Once he returns it takes another 30minutes for the floor manager (closer) to visit us. He seemed like he had a bad day and was very rude. He shows me the figures (which were actually not changed) but begins to tell me I cannot get the rebate and have my own financing, lying straight to my face after being told to come down and we could get close to my rate. I wasnt asking for 0% from toyota, and it does not say you must use Toyota Financial anywhere in the disclosure, my credit qualified for less than 5% interest... So 6:30 pm rolls around and after another hour of waiting we finally got the numbers right and I could use my banks rates now after being told I couldnt.. I give them all my credit info and was getting tired at this point, its not over. I am told 3 people were ahead of us for finance and there is only 1 guy since someone called in sick. I said ok I need to eat. I went to eat from 7:30-8:30, came back just before 9pm. I was told someone just went in and I would be next, no problem I thought. I chatted with another guy buying a car who says they also played games on the pricing, etc. We laughed and were both buyers at this point, I did not want to go home after 4 hours invested. After being told I am next, someone else goes in finance, I wait 1hour more for him and told again very soon they would have me in there. Just before 11pm another client goes in instead of me (3rd times the charm?) Oh he is leasing, it will be quick.. never fails. By about midnight the finance manager has me in his office, nice guy, wasnt a car business guy and that helped. He was apologetic of course and continued to assist me with my paperwork. I got done about 12:30 the next day and after 8 hours I bought a car... All the while I am sitting watching tv the entire sales staff is either messing around or eating dinner at the sales Tower (mangers office) I know the business and understand it very well but this was just disrespectful. If you are going to quote deals that make you lose money dont beat the new owners up over it.. My sales guy gave me my keys and then wanted to deliver the car, which could have been done anytime but he was busy cleaning his car and eating dinner over the last 3 hours, not with me. I said I should get home, long drive. I got home just after 1:30am. 5 hours of sleep and back to work I went. I spent basically my entire day off buying a car. This was the worst experience I have had from any dealer. I was lied to my face multiple times, purposely kept at the dealer for way too long. One of the guys said jokingly "Must be a good deal if you are still here, I would have left hours ago.." I laughed it off and thought how nice of him to say that. For a brand new store less than 1 year old this place will fall very quickly. They have a great location, looks to be a very nice building, but the customer service was terrible. Look elsewhere, plenty of toyota dealerships to buy from. Buyer Beware

I would give them 10 stars if I could! At first, I was hesitant to buy a new Toyota from West Coast Toyota because of their negative reviews. But I noticed that the complaints were from old customers who originally purchased their car from Hooman Toyota and not from this NEW DEALERSHIP! So I wanted to give them a try since I live in Naples Island and this was the closest Toyota dealership. I just purchased a new Camry this weekend from west Coast Toyota for my mom. Excellent customer service and we got such a great price on our brand new Toyota Camry. The sales Manager-Steven and the salesman-Kenneth did an excellent job price matching and beating an online price. Kenneth spent a lot of time teaching my mom how to use all the options on her new car! We were ecstatic! We went home with a brand new 2016 Toyota Camry on Saturday night. However, when my mom touched the paint on her new car, she noticed that the paint felt a little gritty and the front grill wasnt as shiny. Then Tony the manager came out to ensure that they will detail it for us on Monday morning since the service department was closed already. Then on Monday morning I brought it in to get detailed. I was greeted immediately by Jackie & another manger named Dave. They were extremely friendly and attentive in making sure I was completely satisfied. I was dropped off at home by a nice gentleman while the car was getting detailed. That same afternoon, Dave called me and said that after waxing and detailing my moms new 2016 Camry, they noticed a few scratches on the hood that were visible in the sunlight. Keep in mind that this car was probably a Hooman car they bought from their inventory. And most likely it was probably baking in the sun for months. Dave & Tony said they will give me another new exact same 2016 Camry. When I showed up to inspect the new car, I was very pleased with the shiny paint & chrome. The next morning I returned to sign all new documents. And I got better news from Dave & Tony! They said Im going home with a 2017 Toyota Camry instead!!!! My mom & I were thrilled! Our whole family was treated was so much attention, respect, and consideration from "every single person" we were in contact with including the finance/contract guys- Francisco & Tony. This was such a great experience for myself & my mom and I really recommend everyone gives this New Dealership a try! Its too bad that they got a bad wrap from the old Hooman customers who lost their VIP service which is understandable. But West Coast is new dealership and they should be evaluated your own new car purchase experience.

First they stole the keys to my trade in when they did the appraisal. My advice to you is when they give you the offer on your trade in, stop everything until you get your keys back. I knew exactly what I wanted before I got there. I knew what they were asking, and I made a fair offer, I wanted a deal, not a steal. I told them what I would pay, they kept trying to get me to settle on a monthly payment, which I wasnt concerned with. I wanted to know the total price. It was like the salesman pretended to not hear what I was saying. He kept hammering me about what I needed my monthly payment to be. Finally I was fed up, I wanted my keys back because I was leaving. They stalled. In fact they insulted me. I threatened to call the cops if they didnt give me my keys back. I got in my car to leave and the sales manager runs out, saying they would agree to my price. I literally had to get in a car, put it in reverse and start to leave, before they agreed. Heres a tip, if they ask you to purchase an extended warranty, have your bank negotiate the price. What they quote you, isnt the bottom line price, extended warranty prices are negotiable. Part of that money goes to the guy selling you the warranty, in my case it was the paperwork guy. Second tip, sell your car to Carmax, they will give you a far better price than Hooman. At the time I had an 01 Tacoma 4X4, Carmax gave me $4000 more than what Hooman offered me. 4K!?! I learned a lot from these a-holes. It was the worst car buying experience Ive ever had. Now I know a few of the tactics and tricks that car salesman use. If I had my bill of sale in front of me Id call each of them out by name. Hooman is a poor representation of the Toyota brand. All of this happened in June of 2012 and I still would never recommend them to anyone. Hell, I cant even unsubscribe to their emails, so f-em. If I still have to hear from them, they get to hear from me. Warmest Regards Hooman.
