Good looking store with inviting open front produce area (middle of the store). Behind that is the specialty stuff like bakery, hot counter and cheese. Pharmacy is to the right when you enter, around the internal Starbucks. By the pharmacy is the alcohol section - appropriately, no? There are some clearance racks in the front left corner if youre looking for a deal. Also have 4 self check out machines if you like them. Besides the logistics, I should commend the frequent shopper reward program Just 4 U that yields more savings than the weekly specials. Digital coupons are the way to go and you do receive personal coups based on your shopping history. The staff is friendly and helpful; Ive seen them promptly assist customers looking for specific items. Ive also received quality assistance when the sometimes glitch-prone self checkout machines yielded errors.

I called to ask if this Pavilions had a pharmacy and I was awestruck at what happened. Phone answered by a Pavilions employee... Answered (4 seconds of silence) Me: Hello? P.E.: ...yeah... Me: Thats a weird way to answer the phone P.E.: Can I help you? Or something? Me: Do you guys have a pharmacy? P.E.: ....yeah.... Me: ok than- (she hung up) Ridiculous. I wish this was funnier but this really happened. Another person posted that they think that everyone who works here does not want to, I completely agree.

The atmosphere is great, until you get to the deli..... The ladies in deli section act as though someone forced them to take the job :-/. Actually makes me sad that so many people want jobs and would conduct themselves more pleasantly, but the grouchy (seemingly ungrateful) have the positions..

Nothing, they have expired items on the shelves. .employees are never happy. ..the bakery is great and sometimes the floral dept looks ok..

If I dont find it at Vons, I come here...a sister store of Vons and Albertsons...a little more upscale too.

Its actually a Pavilions, not a Safeway. I know Safeway owns them but its still a different selection.
