If i could rate this a 0 star i would! I made a huge purchase (a macbook) and the sales associate said that the computer i chose would be the right one for me assuring me i would have no problems with it! After talking to actual apple representatives they assured me (after i bought the mac book) that this macbook did not have enough storage for my usage which it did not! Also i purchased the laptop with my dads credit card and the sales associate said it would be no problem but id have to order it online from their website (on one of their display computers) then id be immediately able to pick it up while still at the store. We had some problems while ordering it online and the sales associate did NOT help me at all! So he asked his supervisor than said his supervisor said to try a different computer and so i did. Once i ordered it i went to the pick up spot in the store and they told me that i NEEDED my dad there. So they called the supervisor over and the supervisor said he told the associate that was helping me that we could NOT make the purchase without my dad and that we should not order it. But we did because the sales associate told us to just do it. So my dad who did not want to come down there was now furious at me and we were being rushed because the store was going to close all because the sales associate wanted to make a sale so bad that he lied straight to our faces. I liked best buy a lot but never will i ever purchase from them again!

I went to pick up a A/V receiver and already knew which one I wanted. Though the model was on display, there were none below it. The associates were helping other customers but said theyd call someone to help me. I patiently waited for over 15 minutes while two associates B/Sd with the same two customers! When another customer came up to ask for help, they said oh yeah this guys waiting too, well call someone right away. When he showed up (5 minutes later) he didnt come to see who was waiting first, instead he saw the other customer and walked over to help her. One very simple request, and I already knew what I wanted, I just needed them to go in the back and get it for me. Very frustrating and a complete waste of my lunch hour. I decided I had wasted enough time and that they did not deserve my business (i know, like they care right?) and left. 30 minutes waiting, not one thing accomplished. Ive been to some good Best Buys, and this is NOT one of them!

This is specifically for Geek Squad in Lakewood and over the phone. In general the techs are polite and its not an issue with their behavior. The issue is the horrible service and lack of communication between departments. We are Elite Plus Members and our Kindle Fire was taken in for service in January and replaced, less than two months later the Kindle Fire stopped working. Our service expired, however we were told over the phone twice (once the day before visiting the store and once in store) that refurbished products had a 90 day exchange period. However, Geek Squad and their corporate service will not honor it. This isnt the first time Ive had issues with Geek Squad and I am very disappointed in the service. Especially since they train their associates to push so hard to sell it. The least you could do is have good service. Unfortunately this will be the last time I purchase any type of protection plan from Geek Squad.

So I had recently went looking for a laptop and they were very kind. I had found this laptop and was told that they sold out and that they wont get another shipment till the following week. The lady who was helping me out (which by the way was very kind) told me to call in to check if they came in.The week after I call in and the lady on the phone was so rude and put me on hold 2 times for almost 30 minutes and was no help. I called in again and guess who answered! The same lady and I told her all I had was a simple question and she got so mad and just sent me to the Computer department. The lady in the computer department was so helpful and very patient with me.She did have to put me on hold but only because she went to go check for me.I believe she was the kindest on there, :)I guess you could say its one of those hit or miss places. :/

When i bought a game from that best buy it was alright.They dont really care and i dont really care.If you are one of the people who just want to get out of the store and buy it quick it is kinda decent.Anyway like i said,i bought a game from there.I didnt like that game so i went back to the store to return the game.It took some time but i got every single penny i got without problems.And I returned it like 2 weeks from when i got the game.Anyway it was alright because no one bothers me while im shopping and since i know what i want i dont need any customer service,which they dont have at all.In the end,i wish the circuit city near the best buy didnt close down.And if you like me,you wont mind at all.By the way the game that i bought was Dj hero.Just plain sucks.

Rather disappointed that when I was there to spend my money everyone was ready to help, but when they failed to email me my recepit and I tried to call the store the only # you can reach is a Call Center, which told me the store cant resend my receipt, I would have to call corporate office, after wIting on hold for 10 mins, and being disconnected. When I asked for the store # it took 5 xs to get the point that I did not want a ph #, but the actual # of the store. Very poor phone assistance, when I call a store that I just spent over $200 @ it would be nice to talk to the person I just delt with 35 mins. ago in the store. NOT PLEASES.

I called to ask if they had a certain Nikon lens in stock. Another helpful best buy said they might have one left in Lakewood. They put me on hold for 10 minuter at the time, she kept asking me what color my camera was. When she put me on hold again I hung up. Since I really wanted that lens I called back and she said that yes they have it in stock. To be sure I asked to tell what lens she was holding, since she didnt know what she was talking about, only to find out it was not the lens I had asked for. When I told her that that was not the lens I asked for she put me on hold again without saying anything. Horrible.

I purchased my cellphone from this store and the rep told me that Best Buy insurance was the best around. So I asked him what was the difference between them and Asurian He said "Best Buy covers everything Asurian did but they were less expensive and the deductible was $100 less. So I took it. THIS IS A LIE!!!!!!!! Asurian covers lost and stolen, Best Buy does not! Not only did they NOT do anything to help they kept transferring me around. I talked to 6 different people. Nobody even tried to help. I will not do this again. If I could give them no stars I would. Go with Assyrian. Youll be happier.
