I have probably written 1 or 2 reviews my whole life, so it should be pretty clear how frustrated I am to even waste my time writing a review. Didnt even get a chance to go in the store because of how stupid they are over the phone. Same 2 girls answer the phone after my call being redirected because no one is at the department Im trying to reach. You would think logic would kick in and they would ask me if they can assist me with anything instead of just trying to transfer me to an unattended phone line. Im not saying theyre idiots, oh wait I am. All I wanted to know is if they have any ammunition in the store....I am typing this review as I am STILL holding on the phone. Every time they pick up, I say "wait dont transfer me, can you tell me if you guys have ammunition at the store" and guess what...transferred. This is ridiculous, I have been on the phone with this particular store (not all Walmarts are bad) for 20 minutes, and have only spoken to 2 associates for about a total of less than 1 minute. Today is July 1, 2013, time is 4:15 PM meaning I have been calling since before 4:00 PM. The associates that picked up should be fired for being completely useless. I could have driven to the store and back home by now and I live in Irvine. Time is now 4:25 and the line is silent, when I call back, they recognize my number and just put me straight to hold. Called with a different phone number now to speak to a manager, on hold for 13 minutes now, about to hang up and go straight to the store and complain. This is become personal.

This walmart is absolutely horrible!!! I would have given it 0 stars if it would let me. I called regarding a refund that had not yet posted to my account. The woman that answered transferred me to customer service(if you can call it that) and no one one answered so the call bounced back to her. This happened about 8 times. Not once did she insure that I got a live person. Then I was transferred to sporting goods which i did not ask for. THEN sporting goods tried to transfer me to customer service(pfft!) and they hung up on me. I called back and got the first lady again and explained to her my frustration and that I need a LIVE person in customer service. Im on hold for a couple minuted but then get someone in CS. He tells me that refunds can take up to 5 days to process (its been 4) but even if debit is used??? That usually posts right away. He then asks if i have the receipt and I tell him I have it in front of me and have the reference number. He tells me to hold on... then I am on hold for 15 more minutes. Not once did he come back on the line to check on me or help me. This is a total or 30 minutes that I have been on hold with a total of about 12 transfers and being hung up on. I then called to speak to the manager and then waited on hold another 5 minutes for that. I hung up and will now be going into the store to complain! This was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. This is why I shop at target! I know better and will not make the mistake again and give walmart another penny of mine!

I will NEVER go shopping in a WALMART again!!! My wife bought a $250 pair of glasses there and I bought 2 pair. A month later she wanted to get another a pair but they didnt have the frame that she wanted. I found what she wanted online and told her to get a copy of her prescription from the store so I could order it. They gave her a copy of the optometrists prescription but refused to give her the PD. When she ordered her glasses from Walmart they measured her PD and its part of her original order. They know that without the PD the prescription is useless. So they deliberately wanted to make it impossible for her to buy glasses online. Fortunately there are stores that will measure your PD for you as a courtesy even if you dont spend any money with them. Walmart wont do it even when you drop over $300 in their store. NOT ANOTHER DIME IN A WALMART. I WONT BE TREATED LIKE DIRT EVEN IF I HAVE TO SPEND A FEW DOLLARS MORE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

There are a lot of reasons why people hate Walmart. Today, I discovered mine. Today I learned Walmart doesnt actually have a complaint box. Theres no way to contact the higher-up tribunal of investors and corporate representatives, you can only talk to a manager, complain to an apathetic face which will not endanger their job or interest for the sake of the customer. You can be re-directed to an 800-number to voice your complaints to a different [apathetic foreign non-native-English-speaking] representative, though. After everyone explains to you "policy" is to screw over the customer with no discretion from managers or workers [sic], your purpose is complete because your money is already in the registers. But youre always sure to have a pleasant farewell "Have a good day Customer 01034153! Thank you for your Business!"

it is well organized. Still, if you are lost ask someone to help. People in general are helpful, though you may find it difficult to communicate as they may be Central Americans or Mexicans. The green section is also good. Love the optics center. Last year even got my eyes examined there. It doesnt keep fresh produce. Also, I realized that here you may get things that are cheaper, but not good quality. But for similar cheaper quality you may get it cheaper in other nice stores still better quality e.g. swimming accessories are more expensive than sports chalet or other sporting goods store. Same way canned products may be cheaper in Ralphs than here, as they normally have offers on these items. But yes, you may like to check other store advertisement and compare prices.

This store needs a serious upgrade. This is a very busy location. The aisles are way too small. The shelves are almost always not fully stocked. I am always "searching" for what I am looking for. The people who work here dont usually speak English well, so they really can not help you, or they dont know where things are. The floors are always so dirty. The clearance items at this store are really not a deal at all. I come here because it is the one near my house, but I often go to the Irvine store because I work over there, and I dont want to deal with the Walmart in laguna niguel. The lines are always so long! The return line is always a long wait.

Shopper beware!!! Walmart does not stand behind the products it sells, especially the store brand, Great Value. Purchase Great Value products at your own risk! I bought a bottle of Great Value Easy Pour Bleach and after just a few months on the shelf, it ate a hole through the bottle and leaked. It then ate a hole through my cabinet. Walmart and the manufacturer, Kik International, gave me the runaround for 5 months before offering only half of the damages. Shop somewhere else or fend for yourself. Walmart didnt look out for me and they obviously dont value their customers!!!
