FANTASITC! ! Every book seems to be selected based on merit rather than profitability and publisher. There is only so much room in a small bookstore like this so you end up with the highest quality books rather than the mass market shotgun approach of piling every book on the shelves. This place seems to have a purpose much higher than money: joy of good reading and community.

The location, the books and the staff book knowledge are worth travelling to visit this store whenever I am in Southern California. I always find some wonderful books to buy thanks to the staff picks. When I am not in the neighbourhood, their website is very useful.

Great selection! Had a fun time browsing and picked up some books and cute cards. Loved that it was all sci-fi but seemed a stiff with lack of sci-fi art. Still had a good time! And cute café for coffee right next door.

Great little bookstore on coast hwy. Great selection of books, without having all the crap in between like large chain bookstores. The employees there are so friendly.
