This shopping center has a good mix of stores (office supply store, movie theater, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, electronics store, home furnishings, clothing stores, pet store, bicycle store). What this shopping center is missing is a hardware store, a Borders or Barnes & Noble, a pedestrian bridge across the I-5 to access La Jolla Colony, and sidewalks on both sides of the road that circles the building. The parking lot is overbuilt and poorly managed, creating areas of high parking utilization that shift throughout the day, while other areas remain unsightly dead zones on all but two days during the year. Modern parking management technology would allow some of that excess space to be used for more buildings (lowering rents and store prices), while preventing the need for motorists to circle around to find a space. A trolley station is scheduled to be built near this shopping center in 2013-2015. Perhaps some of these issues will be addressed at that time.

Everyone forgets how to drive in the Whole Foods parking lot. Multiple times people were driving on the wrong side of the road. People dont pay attention to the parking lines on a regular basis. Ive had to crawl through my passengers side to get to my seat twice and once I had to crawl through my car all the way from the back. Its ridiculous. I dont have a big car, I do know what side of the road I should be on, and I know how to park in the middle. Im not sure when these people got their licenses, but they need to take a course. If you care about your car I recommend parking across the street by the Best Buy and walking over or else not shopping here at all.

Smaller mall with stores on either side of Nobel. Ralphs, whole Foods, CVS and Trader Joes anchor the mall. Good selection of chain restaurants like Islands, CPK, BJs Pizza, and Rubios. Also good specialty stores such as DSW, Best Buy, and Ross. Also has a very nice movie theater with 6 screens and very comfortable reclining seats. I seem to find myself there at least once a week. Parking can be a little tough especially if you are trying to go to the Trader Joes or the Whole Foods. If you park underneath the mall its much easier.

It has Whole Foods,CVS, Peets,Rubios and other great stores. There is plenty of parking. There is handicap parking and great access in the stores. Everyone is friendly in this quaint community. I loved the outdoor seating. I had a drink at Peets while sitting outside after I went to Whole Foods for the best salsa and chips. I bought pretty reusable bags that say San Diego California at Whole Foods. I spent a nice afternoon shopping. They have some nice eating places here too that I have not tried. I will be back.

Usually stop here to when I need to shop at Trader Joes. Starbucks & Ralphs are also on the same side. Restaurants and other stores are on a lower level on the other side, with a different entrance and separate parking lot. Its an incredibly busy center. Walking distance to UCSD and lots of apartments. The parking lot for Trader Joes and Ralphs is the reason for this score. Narrow aisles, narrow parking spots, crazy traffic flow filled with shoppers walking back and forth through the lot.

Extensive. Its as big as a village from the early 19th century and probably accommodates more people, especially on weekends, than ten of those villages would have been populated with. Great stores. Can spend the entire day here. Urban Plates is one of my favorite dining places in all of San Diego. I enjoy Marshalls and Ross for budget shopping and theyre both here. Ralphs and Trader Joes. World Market and Pier 1 Imports. Theres a wide selection of everything, almost.

A one stop shop! This place has just about everything. I work in the area so I swing through here all the time on my way home. Has a Ralphs, starbucks, ulta, best buy, Ross, world market, islands resturant, and several a other shopping and food options. Across the street are more shops like Nordstrom rack, whole foods, chase bank, BJS resturant, CVS, peets coffee, etc. It is also close to the 5 freeway. 2 different exits, so it is convenient and quick to get to.

One of the best AMC theaters with recliners and their is a trader Joes, next to a Starbucks and chipotle. Yes it sounds gentrified but its next to UCSD, so its more of an upscale college area. The fins fish tacos in the center are probably some of the best in SD, get the Ono tacos. Parking spots are super small and the escalator inside is broken and their are no stairs in the immediate area, so you have to take an elevator one floor.

Nice older mall, which originally was an indoor mall. Has a mixture of business, including a 24/7 Ralphs Grocery, some good places to eat, PetSmart, and a mix of small ro large stores, and I love the AMC Theater with large comfy power reclining seats. Have also noticed some selling hard drugs around Ralphs, as they are trolling for college students looking to make a buy, so could use more security to discourage this activity.

There are many independent stores that sell very nice unique items such as the World Market. There is also a Starbucks, a Bestbuy, a Trader Joes, and other more popular chains. The AMC theater has large reclining seats at good prices. There are a few eating places as well. Overall it is a very nice mall.

Buen lugar para pasar la tarde y comprar algunas cosas. Los cajones de estacionamiento son pequeños y hay poco espacio entre carros.

Nice and small shopping center. Not a great place to shop for clothes, but convenient for food, grocery shopping (Ralphs and CVS), movies (AMC), banking, and electronics (BestBuy). Theres a PetSmart doggie hotel with a huge glass window. You can watch the caretakers play with the dogs!

Der Mix der Geschäfte ist interessant, aber die Mall ist zweigeteilt. Von der einen Seite zur anderen zu gelangen ist mühsam.

Parking is a nightmare...but i love the new AMC theaters. There is hidden parking underground...shhhh....Urban Plates is new and exciting. The Ralphs is really nice, but expensive. Of course, I love the trader Joes there. Lots of people from the college.

Parking is the worst at La Jolla Village Square and is not very pedestrian friendly either, but besides that it is a great place to do groceries, with Trader Joes, Ralphs and Whole Foods. They also have an AMC Theatre and bus stops near it.

The parking is hit or miss but I feel that I am lucky and find parking easily. The mall has a variety of shops for high end goodies and eats. I do think the inside is a bit plain since it is so big, there isnt much interior design thought.

Good location to get groceries for nearby university students or to hang out and shop. Parking system on the upper level is horrendously designed though making it difficult to navigate in a car or to maneuver into parking spots.

Shopping center with an above average assortment of shops including a Ralphs supermarket, Trader Joes, World Market and a movie theater. The Ralphs has the largest kosher section of any store in San Diego county.
