3 different bad experiences with this place. My husband and I both have cricket but we signed up in a different store 50 miles away and that store was great. I went with my daughter to this Irvine location because its in her area, and it was bad. There is only one employee there. ONE. It is in an extremely busy Asian shopping center where you are lucky to get a parking spot. The store where I got mine, had three employees and it was a tiny store. With our first visit to this Irvine store, we spent about an hour picking out a phone for my daughter (it took a long time because the one employee had to go help others and answer the phone) When it came time to purchase the phone, the employee said oh, we dont have it in stock...you can pay now and pick it up in a week or 2. So, okay, we find a less desirable phone..SAME THING..not in stock. Another phone...NOT IN STOCK. In fact, only one phone in the entire store was in stock! I asked how can you do business like that, its crazy. She said all the cricket stores are independently owned that this owner carries no merchandise in stock...even the phone covers...My daughter works 50 hrs/week and doesnt live that close to Irvine but this was the nearest to her, coming back was not what she wanted and besides she needed a phone right away. So about a month later, the phone she bought there that she didnt really want, broke. Somehow she was locked out and couldnt get it to work and we came into the store again. After about 45 mins, the same employee couldnt get it to work either and said the only option was for my daughter to mail it to Cricket and pay $25. We said forget it, and somehow my daughter got a tech friend to fix it. Two more months go by and her phone was stolen. She immediately called the store and when she gave them all her info, they said the security answer was incorrect and they could not help her or turn off her phone! The security question was easy: what elementary school did she go to? She only went to one. The only thing I could think of was that the application she filled out in the store was hand written and maybe whoever entered the info misspelled the school name?? So now, we will both have to spend this Saturday in that store to try to get this straightened out. The owner is obviously too cheap to hire more employees and to keep merchandise in stock. The customer service is not what Americans are used to either. The attitude is that of some 3rd world country where the employee simply shrugs when you complain...couldnt care less if you go elsewhere as though there is no competition out there. We were the only English speaking customers in the store each time, and we got rude attitudes from the other customers.

Went to the store to get a new connection. Wanted new 25$ prepaid plan. The lady there tried hard to convince me to switch to a 40$ plan and buy new phone with it. After 15 minutes of arguing another lady comes in. They both talk in chinese and then the other lady rudely says you have to take 35$ plan as no customer asks of it and they wont bill for less than 35$. I firmly made it clear that I need 25$ plan only. They agreed for it. Then they give me an estimate of the connection 15$ for new sim 25$ activation fee 25$ plan charge While on the cricket wireless there is no activation fee and cost of new sim is 9.99$. I tell them that this is not true and the price is less on the site, they say its the way its going to be for instore purchase. If you want to payless shop online. I left the store and ordered online for 9.99$+25$+tax and there is no charge for shipping. I have searched the site and could not find any mention of in store purchase being more than online purchase, as mentioned by the store. They were trying to ripoff by 30$. Would never go this store again.

The service of this stop is very bad. I have activated my phone on last Sunday. When I travel to other city and found that the voice mail is not working. I phoned the shop several times. A lady always said she is too busy and she will call me back. But I did not get the phone call. I badly need to get my 14 voice mail now.

Just got 3 lines transfered, and opened 2 new lines, one for my young son, and one to replace my home phone. The cricket guys are awesome, all 5 lines with 4GB, unlimited voice and text message for each line, for a total $100 and no other fees, pretty good.

I went into this Cricket Wireless store yesterday to replace my broken phone. Ben was very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and super kind. Not only that, but he informed me that I can get the same plan that I am on, but for less. Thank you, Ben!
