If I could give a negative-star rating, believe me, I would. Bunch of rude a-holes. I called to ask about selling a couple of never-before-used cordless drills that I had lying around. I was pretty straightforward with my inquiry, didnt want to waste their time. I wasnt brash or rude or pushy; I gave the proper "hi how are you," "please & thank you," the works, I spoke with the kind of southern-gentlemanly respect my parents raised me to show others. I gave the model number and asked if that was the kind of thing they keep an eye out for. The guy says, "Listen, kid, this is a pawn shop, we help people out - nobody here is stepping over each other to buy your drills, OK? We could care less. Just bring them in and Ill tell you what theyre worth." So what did I do? I walked straight past this lousy shop and went to the place a few doors down, Beach City Pawn & Discount Guitar, where I spoke with a guy named Clay who not only was helpful and polite, but was stoked at the pristine condition of the drills and offered me a very good price on them, mentioning how easy they would be for him to sell, adding that they were "an ideal find" given the condition and the make and model, which are in high demand. Long story short - dont go to Huntington Super Pawn, they were so incredibly rude over the phone that I didnt once even consider setting foot inside the joint. Instead, go just a few doors south of them on Beach Blvd to Beach City Pawn and ask for Clay. Huntington Super Pawn is super-rude and super-useless, dont dignify them with your business, take your merchandise next door instead.

I had a very important guitar stolen from me. I found out the guitar was sold to this pawn shop. I went in, and they told me they had the guitar. They said go through the police and we can get it back to me. I explained how important it was to me. They said they understood and it would be there after the weekend. Showed up with the police, and they sold it out from under me after I told them how special it was. DO NOT BUY ANY GUITARS FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

These guys are idiots. I had an 1872 $20 Gold Coin that I wanted to pawn. The gold melt value alone is $1800 and all they said was "were a pawn shop, not coin dealers" and didnt even want to see it. Go a couple miles down Beach Blvd just north of the 405 fwy. to Crossroads Pawn. They gave me way over the usual 1/3rd value in a loan.

Horrible customer service dont even bother going to them, I have never been to a place with such rude people! We know how much r stuff is worth so in no way is it bec they didnt give us what we wanted! They r rude and think they r above everyone that walks into the place!!!!

I had never been to a pawnshop and was kind of nervous when I first walked in. The staff here made me feel very comfortable and gave me the a very fair price on the stuff that I sold them. I would highly recommend then to anyone looking to use a pawnshop in Orange County.

Awful. the staff was rude an unknowledgeble on the items I wanted to sell. if you run a pawn shop shouldnt you do some studying and get familiar with pawn items. what a joke!
