Ive decided to update my review, because my previous review (also five stars) didnt contain any details about my customer experience, which isnt exactly helpful to any prospective customers, so heres my personal experience: After spending a long and dismal evening with my sister, shopping for the perfect engagement ring to buy for my now wife, I spent long, discouraging hours sifting through over-priced, generic rings that all looked exactly the same, with a lot of unhelpful, unknowledgeable attendants. The very next morning, I decided have a more specific description of what I wanted and see if anybody could possibly provide exactly what I was looking for. Lucky for me, the very first door I walked through on my second day of shopping was Kenningtons, and also very lucky for me, the guy who served me was Jeff. I only needed to say a few words before Jeff knew exactly what it was that I wanted. He quickly sketched it out for me and it was precisely what I had pictured. I needed the ring in three weeks, he got it done for me in two, and he was nice enough to stay beneath my budget without sacrificing any of the quality. Looking back, I just feel awful because I feel like I underpaid them severely. The sheer magnitude of craftsmanship they delivered under a constraining timeline and budget is staggering. I almost wish I could just go back and pay them more. The ring is beautiful, Ive heard many comments from my wifes friends that it is the most unique ring theyve ever seen, and I cant thank Kenningtons enough for making it happen. I plan on giving them every dollar of business I possibly can in the future, I dont recommend any other Jeweler in Fresno.

My fiancee and I went to Kenningtons from word of mouth. We had shopped at the main jewelry stores in town, but couldnt find the design she wanted for her wedding ring. One other store did have a similar design but was extremely over-priced. Needless to say, I was very stressed out at the thought I might have to go way over budget or get something a lot simpler. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, and way more down-to-earth than staff at other jewelry shops. It is a small shop though so dont expect to be able to browse through a large selection. Kenningtons was willing to work with us to custom design the ring, which does incur an extra fee for doing so, but went the extra mile and found several existing rings from several companies that matched our criteria! The ring we ended up with fitted my budget and more importantly, my fiancee and I love it!

Kennington Jewelers did a magnificent job repairing my engagement ring-- definitely the best repair job I have ever had done on a piece of jewelry. They were also very honest and upfront and didnt try to convince me I needed something I didnt. To top it off the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and I felt totally safe leaving my ring with them. I highly recommend them and wouldnt hesitate to return again.

Excellent experience. I had to get my ring removed, and they were the only place that could do it for me because my ring was very thick, they did it FREE of charge and took me to the back to remove it when nothing else I tried would work. The experience was very professional and friendly.

I didnt go to all the jewelers in town. Why? Because once you meet these guys you wont want to. The amount of detail and care they put in was beyond what I expected. Dont be thrown off by the location; its a diamond in the rough.
