Called to check on an item: Coats & Clark 20-22" Invisible Zipper in Copenhagen (Blue) and was answered by the store operator. I explained the item I was calling about... which he, in turn, transferred me to someone else... which she, in turn, transferred me to someone else... which the next person, in turn, transferred me to someone else because, as she said, "Im on the opposite end of the store of where your item is, and I can see people standing around in that department who can help you." I was finally transferred to a "Malitza" (unsure of spelling) and she was mildly rude (as though I was bothering her). I had to repeat myself several times because she said she couldnt hear me very well (even as none of the others I spoke with said this). After being on hold a short time, the sales associate returned to tell me they had two of the zippers I asked about. I needed three.

Staff is not helpful and could definitely brush up on their knowledge of textiles. Also over priced I only go here when I cant get to my favorite mom and pop shop for fabric and other great non overpriced items. Its been years of bad service where I can tell people working at joanns are simple miserable there. Finally thought it was time for a review.

Never helpful and they make you feel guilty for asking. Shopped here frequently because it was convient with my dog always with me. Suddenly, she not allowed in there and apparently has never been allowed in there, even when I asked the first time I tried and was told different. Ill never support this store again. Dirty and uninviting. ..

I dont like waiting in line at 11am in the morning being the second person in line the cashier calls for help and can not get any one to help check while she process a big order. I left. Glad to know Joanns is doing so well in this economy. Trust me not he the first time. IRVINE store is the absolute WORST.

The checkout clerk was very rude. The staff inside the store were very helpful, but the experience was ruined by the clerk. If I hadnt wanted the supplies badly, I would have cancelled the sale. Sad.

I prefer this Joanns because of its size and location. Located right next to a Michaels, Target, Walmart, and Hobby Lobby so you are bound to find what you are looking for.
