I walked into this store to purchase a bulb. When I arrived I was told that the bulb I needed was very specific and that I should bring one in so that I did not buy the wrong wattage and damage the fixture. Because it was pouring rain I told the sales person that I just wanted to buy one of each and when I got home I would install the correct bulb (after looking at the one that does not work) and return the others. He told me that because I did not know the wattage that he would not allow me to return any of the bulbs in the event that I used one and damaged it. I told him that I would only use the correct one after checking the the wattage on the bulb that burned out. He said he still was not able to return any of them because he could not trust that I would not damage them. Basically the guy was telling me that he could not trust me. Pretty horrible customer service. I would much rather buy online and wait a few days. Not to mention that the online price was $5.69 and the store price was $7.99. I will never shop here again. Very rude.

We arrived at Batteries Plus Bulbs in Folsom at a very busy time so we decided to go to Cold Stone (it was very hot out, but there is also a Starbucks) in the same building and come back later. As we headed for the door, the clerk said, "Well be with you shortly." We assured him we would be back. We returned shortly; he was free to help us buy two batteries for our very old Makita, priced at less than half the cost at Lowes. We had not gone online first to order @ the 10% off (with in-store pickup) and were told, "No worry, we can take 10% off for you right here in the store." Were very please with our purchase and the service. He then answered our light bulb question, did some on-the-spot research online for us, showed us the search results, and was able to order just the shape we needed in a LED bulb. He asked for a deposit, gave us a receipt and will call us within two weeks when it arrives. We definitely recommend this store.

My car was having intermittent starting issues. I thought it might be the battery so I ordered a new one from Batteries Plus.. When I arrived at the store they tested my battery saying it tested perfectly well, and refunded the charge back to my card. Very impressed with the thorough customer service provided, and how honest and trustworthy this store is. FYI.. it was the starter so Batteries Plus saved me from buying a new battery that wasnt needed.

Store concept is brilliant, service is superb, product selection spot on, prices reasonable. Ive purchased batteries here for my laptop, auto, solar-powered driveway gate, keyfob - and each time it took at most 5-10 minutes to get the job done! Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. Forget Amazon and let these guys get the job done for you! BTW - the B+B website allows buy-ahead too.

I have always met nice people there. This visit was no different. I came in to pick up a battery I had already purchased on line and have the battery in my watch changed. Later that day I looked at my watch to get the time and realized the time was wrong and the minute hand was not moving? I will go back tomorrow for them to fix it.
