I went to Lens Crafters because they are pretty big and thought they would have the best of the best. Well, making my appointment was not hard, nor was picking th e frames but when they gave me the glasses, i couldnt see right. The right eye felt like it was pulling upwards. As soon as i put them on i felt it and that just could not be right. I told the technician and said "oh, it must be becuase you havent worn glasses in a while. I put them on again and told him there was no way this was normal. They made me another app to see the dr. to check my eyes again. She did not know what it could be because the prescription was made right so she asked for the glasses to be made again. I tried them on and again i had the same issue. This time they made me take them home and try them for 3 days, if after that it was still bad take them back for a refund. After 2 days, it was still not right and decided to pay for a second opinion at a different eye dr. I told him all about it and checked my eyes. He checked the lenscrafters RX and knew exactly what the problem was. He said that unfortuneatly, lenscrafters goes for the young inexperienced doctors and this happend way too often. I was furious and went back to lenscrafters to get my 395.00 back for the faulty glasses they had given me and for the bad eye examination the "dr" had given me.The manager said he could not refund the exam but wanted to make me happy so he refunded the exam of 98.00 and made my glasses with the new dr,s RX. Sure enough, they were fine, it was the Dr. at lensCrafters that didnt know what she was doing. What kind of service is that? If she didnt know what the issue is may she should go back to school. I will NEVER EVER go to a LensCrafters and i am telling everyone not to go and waste their time and money.

It all started good. We walked in and immediately were greeted and asked to be helped. All their attitude were really nice, set up an appointment came back a few days later. Got exam done, was helped picking the right sunglasses with RX and eyeglasses with my new RX. Came in to pick up my sunglasses and tried them on. For some reason they were making me really dizzy, i was told it is because of your new prescription. They said wait until you get your new eyeglases so i could compare both new glasses. So i did wait and when i put on both new pairs you could definately notice the big difference in the sunglasses not being correct. At the end it seemed that reason was because the sunglasses lens was too curved and they dont recomment people put prescription on this type of sunglasses. The regular glasses i didnt like becuase of the spring hinge, i never knew when if would put my glasses on straight or not. So the big problem happened when trying to return them. At first they were really nice and as soon as return came out of my mouth the ladys attitude changed. What made it worst was when i said it was two pairs, the lady said "Two pairs!" She kept pushing me to exchange them, i told her i didnt like any other glasses or sunglasses and didnt want to settle. When she was doing the return her computer froze so i said it was fine that i would return another day to return them. Once again she turned into a really nice person. Well the day came to return them again another person helped us out and again with the attitude changes. We never got a im sorry or anything. Just sign here and thats it. So why does this place offer a 90 day return policy but not train their assoiates to not treat people in a bad way where they dont want to come back.

I went to Lenscrafters to get new glasses(my warranty covered it). It did not take long until they helped me out, but I was quite confused of who to ask because everyone was talking to other costumers and nobody was at the front desk. The person that helped me was very nice and was able to order my glasses that I wanted. Although I did not get the same glasses that I had, I was able to get similar glasses of lesser value and something else added to it. When I went to pick up my glasses, they were under staff so it took about 15 minutes for someone to helped me out so that I could picked up my glasses. It was not a bad experience with the costumer service if I exclude that they were under staff both times that I went to the store.

Ive been going to LensCrafters and Dr. for three years now and every time I go I just marvel over how awesome everyone there is, what a good doctor Dr. is, and how helpful, friendly, and smart the whole team there is. I cant recommend them enough and would even push my Manhattan friends to make the trip into Downey for this practice. They are on top of all the latest technologies, they have a killer line of stylish frames should you want to fill your prescription out there... theyre just ace across the board.

horrible service i walked in and literally for ten minutes no one looked up to speak or address me or even ask me to wait. finally the general manage just so happen to walk out and greet me then leaves me with someone else who sits me down for me to pick out my self which kind of sunglasses i wanted. after another 10 minutes of waiting for someone to come back i got up and walked out, which is what i shouldve done in the first place. They just lost my $300 sale.

Cons: horrible service! my frames not in one hour like they advertise, pricey. Pros: you can get your frames the same day, but be ready to pay the price and deal with their disorder in the store.

Horrible service... Never comming again the girl had a bad attitude as soon I walked in I was outside already horrible service thats why the stores close cuz of the bad attitude of the employees.

Bad service, they didnt give me my prescription for my contacts even though I paid for it and they wanted me to come back for a health eye exam for another $45. Terrible!

$420.00 was the price quoted. I was complaining about Downey Visions price thats increased from $170.00 + frames to $240.00 + frames.
