I have been using the Golden Optometric Group for my eye care needs for nearly 27 years. Even though I lived in La Habra, I first started going because it was relatively close to my workplace in Pico Rivera. I continued going after I was transferred to El Segundo in 1999 because I was so impressed with the care I received over the years from Sheldon and David Golden, their optician staff and office support staff that it made it worth the extra drive. Their practice has continued to grow over the years and they have added additional doctors that clearly understand the Golden philosophy of the patients needs will be satisfied through professional and truly caring attitudes.

Golden Optometric has provided excellent care for me and my family for the past four years. The staff is friendly and attentive, and we receive personalized service, which you dont get from the national-chain stores. At Lens Crafters, I was just a number, and the opticians were more concerned about up-selling than providing me with what I needed: a quality frame at a fair price. Dr. Ardaya is great; he was able to find contacts that fit me (no more dry eyes!) and my budget.

Ive gone to Dr. Goldens office for over 30 years and have seen several of the doctors in this office--theyre all great. I feel they have the most up-to-date technology for diagnosing eye problems, which I appreciate as my eyes age. They have loads of frames to choose from, and the technicians that help you with the frames are very knowledgeable and patient with indecisive customers like me. This office definitely wants you to be happy with your eye wear.

Bad experience. On sat.may 6 th older lady rude...i was told I could come in in the morning as a walk in the day before...but this old lady was straight not having it.total rudeness...ive been coming here for years....not anymore lost a customer due to old non customer oriented lady....not the way you treat loyal customers...just because your having a bad day doesnt mean to spread it old lady...very disappointed

My wife has been coming here for years and she loves it. I have gone with her and just went for the first time last week. The service is great and the office is nice. The equipment looks up-to-date and so do the doctors. They are real and upfront with you about what you need and what would be convenience. All in all I would recommend this place to people around us. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

My experience with them is terrible they have messed up two of my Friday I wont get into details when I first went to them but this last 2 Fridays first I pick up my glasses scratched had to go back 3 times this Friday I waited an hour and a half just to find out they were there the hole time ....I will not be returning to them ...in my 38 years of wearing glasses this was my worst experience...

I asked for an emergency checkup and was given a time slot the day of. The assistants have always been friendly and kind. The doctor that saw me was very friendly, conversational, and, more importantly, detailed in the information he offered unsolicited and the answers he give to every question that I had.
