to sum it all up the discovery bay safeway could improve immensely, all the employees are great they do the best I can with what they have. All of my complaints are really things that would have to be changed on the corporate level. You know corporate , they just run on a specific percentage. You can tell that corporate hasnt been in the Discovery Bay Safeway for a long time with a bathroom that is as disgusting is the Discovery Bay safeway mens bathroom. so beware of the mens bathroom in the discovery bay safeway. Dont touch anything !!!!!!

I agree most people are looking for lowest price. The 16 mile round trip to brentwood just isnt worth it. Safeway has the best meats & a great produce dept. They typically are very attentive to registers with customers waiting and there are helpful people on the floors. I appreciate thier effort and very happy they are right here in discovery bay.

I get tired of all the gas pumps that seem to break down all the time. How about upgrading the pumps to something new like the Safeway in Livermore. Get it done!! Spend the money, this has to be the busiest gas station around.

Its to expensive. The employees are just okay sometime. Also, some customers have a sense of entitlement, just rude. However, their is a worker name Stephanie, absolutely wonderful.

Pricier than most. Store feels dark & cluttered in most of the store. Very crowed near the checkout area to make basket turns if others are in line. Nice florist & bakery area

Meat counter looks good with fresh meat and fish. Took home some kabobs. Store is small, yet runs well. Can get crowded.
