Good service but they are cutting many items for no reason and going to limited sizes and horrid vendors now!. For example, they now carry five types of boneless chicken breast, yet they now dont carry ANY regular chicken breasts with the bone. Why? The two-pack Sheep Herder Bread they have carried for years is now gone. Why? The yellow Dare Breton Cracker variety 5-pack is now gone! Why? The expensive organic crackers they now carry taste like saw dust! They also need alcohol wipes in the meat section. Usually the chicken packages are leaking juice. Hey Costco, ever hear of Salmonella? My biggest pet peeve with this store is they like hiding stuff. For example, ALL the beer should be in the beer section at the last row next to the fruit, yet they hide the best beers(Stone,Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas) in front of the light bulb aisle or other crazy spots. WHY!!!! That is NOT the beer section! Took me forever to find my items and sometimes I just skip it, since I cant find them. They do the same thing with the diary items, chips, and crackers! Can somebody at Costco PLEASE tie up the idiot that plays hide and seek with the items! You think you are selling more by putting them in high traffic areas, but most regulars have the store mapped in their head. The tires in the Tire Department are just an ok deal, but beware the monthly tire deals they have going. They are the narrowest tires that will fit your car/truck, not the same size wider ones that came stock with your car. You really have to read the fine print, since it is not that great of a deal on the tires. Also, the car batteries are really poorly made now. They were really good a few years ago! I am on my second battery in two years. The good thing is they replaced it for free, but they could be making more money by contracting with somebody that makes batteries that LAST. I guess they dont care about giving me and others a new battery for free every two years? The online items are also a big hit and miss. The Costco Auto Insurance Company they contract with are only online. When I stated I had Wawanesa Insurance the guy on the phone got super upset and rude, since they could not beat my Insurance price. Maybe Costco should drop these rude people at Ameriprise? I will NEVER use this company for insurance. Costco Im still waiting for my auto insurance quote from them! The Check Printing is another area where Costco needs to talk to their vendor and tell them to stop scamming Costco Customers! Harland Clarke basically doubles the price of your check order at checkout with a HUGE BOGUS processing fee. They dont tell you this until checkout. The 14.00 order of checks turned out to be 35.00 at check out due to this hidden processing fee! Costco should find another check vender or tell Harland Clarke to STOP this expensive and upsetting scam!!! Pretty disappointed with these crooked and poor quality venders Costco now uses. Who is running Costco now? Still going down hill ever since the AMEX switch! Fire the bean counter CEO and get somebody back in that cares about the customers and quality products.

Cashiers at check out stations are very friendly, always willing to help their customers. Anyhow, there are 2 issues need to be improved: 1. The food course needs to improve their service. My kids love Costco pizza because it is less salty and less greasy so I often order pizza here. I was always told by Food Course employees, "It takes about 20 - 30 minutes" but I had to wait at least 1 hour to 1.5 hours just for one pizza, ALL THE TIMES. One time it took me 2 hours. As a consequence, I had to report this problem to the store manager at that time. However, waiting time at the food course is not change at all = one order for one or two pizzas takes > 1 hour. This is a very bad customer service!!! The managerial team needs to seriously look into this issue. Whether the root of the problem is related to poor customer service or short of labor force. Last week, I had to go to Costco on Garden Grove Blvd to order 30 (thirty) pizzas. I was told 20 minutes. Amazingly, it took 20 minutes for this large order. Five Star for Costco on Garden Grove Blvd ***** 2. (a) Waiting at gas station and (b) the filled amount of gas. (a) Waiting time: I do not need to address here because too many other customers already mentioned and requested for an improvement (b) If anyone pay attention like what I have been doing, Costco gas price/a gallon is much lower in comparison with other outside stations. However, with a same amount of money, Costco gas pumps less amount of gasoline = less miles to operate. For example, I paid $60.00 of gas at Costco and was able to drive 240 miles only. At a different times (same day), I paid $60.00 at Chevron or Mobile or Shell and was able to drive 319 miles - 325 miles (same car model - I have 4 cars in my household). If I calculate the differences of the extra operated miles and the differences of $/gallon between Costco gas price and others, Costco gas price is unable to compete with outsiders. I urge the Costco Gas Station manager to take an action for this problem. To my opinion, this is not an honest game to Costco loyal customers like me.

Have always been happy with the service, location, etc. Wish the other customers were more considerate. Stopping in the middle of the isle lining up for snacks and driving on the wrong side of the road are common. To the nitwits complaining about the hours, you can log in to write a review but you cant check the hours online? To the guy who talked about hours not being posted, its on a massive sign directly to the side of the front doors. Maybe time for a new glasses prescription. To those whining about the long service for tire rotation, they need to service the paying customers before you. Tire rotation is a free service and theyre in the business of making money. If you want quicker take it somewhere and pay or show up as the store opens like I do. Have never waited more than a half hour if Im the first one waiting in the morning.

A few evening ago I was shopping at Costco when I had a car and cell battery problem It was raining at the time. I went to the Customer Service desk inquiring where a pay phone was. I normally have Road Side sevice policy but I just changed my car insurance and it wasnt in effect yet. The employee suggested that I could use their phone. I am a very senior person and have a major hearing problem hearing on phone with background noise. this young lady realize my problems and suggested what procedure I should take.I gave her the phone and she talk with Triple A. I left my glasses on the counter and another young lady thru the rain brought them to me. COSTCO LOW IN PRICES, HIGH IN SERVICE !!!!!!!!

Its always packed (especially in late afternoon), the Pharmacy always takes longer than the 20 minutes they quote (Costco doesnt accept Medi-cal insurance/Cal Optima), theres hardly any parking available when you arrive and when you DO finally find a parking spot, there are shopping carts blocking or in the way that havent been collected or not nearly often enough! Other than those minor issues, Costco seems to be the cheapest when paying cash for Rxs and has low gas prices. Go early in the morning for gas (Like 6 or 7AM) or you will be waiting 20 cars deep in line and it takes forever!!! Wish they accepted CASH for payment of Gas, maybe one Day!
