In all honesty I seldom go to JCPenney. But i needed to pick up a shirt for a gathering I was attending and stopped in. This location was ok. The store was clean but lines were long. i guess thats to be expected during the holidays. The one thing that I didnt like was my associates attitude that checked me out. The guy was rude. I was purchasing multiple shirts and knew i would only keep one. So i asked the associate what was the return policy. He replies "You have a recipe you get your money back" Well I would hope so. But some of these items are on clearance. Whats the return policy for clearance? "The same". Okay sorry for asking questions. This is a complete different attitude I received from the Montclair location the night before. When checking out at Montclair I was asked if i would like to sign up for the JCP credit card. Initially I declined. But the associate said I would get an additional 20% off if i applied and was approved. i asked what would the savings be with a 20% discount. The associate did the calculation for me with taxes to show my savings. Well i ended up getting the card and saving $30. Like i said i dont shop JCPenney too often. But in the future when I do. Ill just head to the Montclair location. Ill pass on chino hills.

The front line customer service here is horrible. I went to return some items and make a payment before Christmas, I waited in line for over 30 minutes after making my payment the cashier at the front line told me she couldnt do the return because she didnt know how. She sent me to the back of the store where there was ANOTHER long line! I did not wait. I went home gathered everything purchased from JCPenny and returned it after Christmas. Last night I went in to make the final payment on my card before closing my account. A rude cashier took my payment. She yelled "Next in line" I walked to the cashier said "I am making a payment" Cashier said "How much?" I told her the amount she took payment and threw my receipt at me. I said "Um thank you. She rolled her eyes. Today I am canceling my JC PENNY credit card because of the horrible service in this store.

I was going to buy a suit jacket from the JCPenny in the Motclair Plaza but the systems went down in the store. Unless you were paying cash you couldnt be helped. So I went to the Chino store, which is closer to my house anyways. They didnt carry the suit, apparently different stores carry different lines. So I wasnt able to get the suit. On the other hand, Ive used the photo studio at this Chino location and they were very professional and did an outstanding job.

I used to go to the brea jcpenney, but this one is much nicer! They have a better selection as everyone goes to brea and all of the good stuff is gone before you get a chance. This jcpenney has a sephora in the middle, and the whole store is a nice white sephora theme. It looks much nicer than the standard brea jcpenney. They have much better clearance stock, and the store isnt run down with people, so you get better help from the staff. This is a great store!

Lines are long. I expected that but when you see no line in appliances and you ask the employee if he can ring you up he says NO! Only for anyone buying appliances. Hmmmm didnt see 1 customer there. This made that employee( didnt see a name badge) look LAZY! Every employee was ringing up regardless what department.( including jewelry and cosmetics)

I got a great deal on what I bought however I had to wait in a very long line and there were only two cash registers open. There were a few more they could have opened. I wish they had. I will go back though. I am very happy with my purchases.

Im sorry to see this organization going downhill so fast. I think they just dont realize that it takes a few extra dollars to keep employees there who can organize and make it look appealing for the customers trying to find products.

This store is such a mess . Or at least the childrens and babies department . I could not believe how flipped it was. It took about 20-30 min just to look for some simple spandex shorts for babies through this mess.

prices are good. and the location has a huge parking lot, so thats good too. a cashier named shane ran after a customer cause they had forgotten something right before I got charged and I thought that was nice.
