I love Seaside Market from the time I enter the store to the time I leave. . The entrance is at the produce area where Im greated by cheerful and welcoming good morning from Tommy the produce guy who is putting out fresh produce. . Then you turn right and l am greated by Nick at the pastry counter who always greats me with a cheerful good morning. . Moreover I like that he knows what lm there for in the mornings (hazelnut coffee and elephant ears). . Moving along to the Deli theres Daniel where I generally go for my lunch. Daniel is always there tells me what all the goodies are on the hot counter and asking if I like something in the cool section. . Even at checkout the cashiers and bagger great me with a smile. . I come to this almost every day and its always a great start to my day.

OK...Deli manager. Bought 3 desserts from the deli counter yesterday. 1 was edible, but not good the vegan cupcake and the key lilme tart tasted like they had been there for weeks! How dare you charge as much as you do, and not put some thought into what you are selling. The last time I brought something back from the deli counter I just happened to see John (owner and founder of said local upscale market) and it went straight into his hands. Dont think that just because youve cornered the "market" (haha...pun intended) in Cardiff for the Summer crowds and vacationing campers you can sell rotten food at the deli, even though you know you will make money for the Season crowds. Shame on you. !! Wont buy anymore deli products from you guys.

This place has terrible, overpriced prepared food. In addition, there is no place to eat your overpriced food because the owners have not provided enough (protected) seating outside. The cheese dept. is a joke, as is the lame cold cut dept. The bakery (or lack thereof) and desert dept. leave much to be desired. If you seek high end foods, take a short trip to the new Whole Foods Market in Encinitas. You will be handsomely rewarded. You will pay for your foods, but at least you will get what you pay for. Thank goodness another Whole Foods will be opening in Del Mar - soon. Seaside has had a free ride for many years. The party is over.

When you want items that are top notch but may cost a little more and well worth it..... Seaside Market is the place to go. Im here at least a few times a week getting meats, fish, lobster, and other items that cant be matched by the larger franchise grocery stores. Now that theyve more than doubled their footprint, they have added a great cheese selection, a new Gelateria, wine tasting, and more room for their healthy everyday items. Great for lunch and with the newly furnished outdoor seating, it makes for a nice spot for lunch meetings or just good people watching. Its a local spot where I always see someone I know. #BOOM

Best meat and seafood in the area! Yum, this is definitely one of the best markets around. They have a delicious marinated tri tip called "Cardiff Crack" which is fantastic! All their shrimp and seafood is fresh and delicious as well. They have a juicer for fresh orange juice and there is an amazing pre made deli case with about anything you can imagine. You can also order a variety of menu items fresh such as California burritos, breakfast sandwiches and salads- those are fantastic as well. Stay away if youre hungry-you will walk away with the whole store!!

The best small production domestic and imported wine selection in all of North County. Very reasonable prices and lots to pick from under $20. The meat case is also best in class for the entire county. We focus on steaks and the generally have great to excellent marbling on strip. ribeye and filets. The tri-tip is very popular and is a good easy mid-week dinner. The addition of a new executive chef James Montejano should help increase the quality of the prepared food and deli section. Seaside market is the food destination north of HWY 56.

used to love this small, locally owned market. They did a big expansion and the prices went sky high and the quality went down hill big time! Especially in the produce area. Several times now Ive purchased old, moldy fruits and vegetables! Had to ask for pita bread. It was in the back freezer. Purchased a bag. Brought it home. Two days later it was moldy! Plus, they keep their fresh baked bread too close to the floor! Fresh fish prices have gone through the roof! I guess the locals are paying for the new expansion. Not so nice...

This is a delightful local market where you can find high-end gourmet items mixed in with pantry staples. They offer an extensive selection of prepared items. Its a popular spot where you can pick up a lunch to enjoy at the tables on their outdoor patio. On the weekends, they set up a tent outdoors where you can pick up BBQ items such as their marinated Tri-Tip, known to locals as "Cardiff Crack". You can also buy the Tri-Tip at their butcher counter to cook at home. Great selection of bread, cheese, beer and wine.

I am not from the area and stopped in for some food. I was told to try the "Cardiff Crack", so we had it 3 ways: in a rice bowl with a curry sauce, in a Barbecue burger/sandwich, and in a burrito. Myself and my 2 friends were not just full, but very impressed with the high quality food. This is not just some grocery store deli, but many orders of magnitude better! I should also add that the grocery store itself appeared to be one of the cleanest, brightest, and most well stocked I have ever seen in my life.

Cardiff Seaside Market is what makes Cardiff the warm little town it is. The owners are friendly, interested in ordering whatever you are looking for, and big supporters of community schools and kids as well. I love the broccoli salad, and the large rice bowls are a great deal -- plenty for two. When I need great meats or perfect produce, this is where I go. The plaza outside their store is like our town square, complete with music and festivals on a regular basis. Our town wouldnt be the same without them.

If you want your car towed and your day ruined shop here. 11- yes eleven minutes into our shopping we come out and the car is gone. Parking lot rent a cop is in business with tow truck company and property owner. The car was in Mira Mesa in less than 30 minutes......WOW welcome to our center. Store manager said tough - the MR. M who patrols the parking lot is the law. NEVER shop this center go north up the coast more shopping, better variety and they actually welcome customers.

They have a wide variety of healthy and organic groceries and a wide range of offerings in their Deli. The Deli section will cook menu items for you, including Daily Specials that change from day to day. Most days they have grills out in front of the store where they will cook BBQ Ribs and BBQ chicken, and BBQ Try Tip Sandwiches. The produce section offers nice looking produce. They have a variety of Wines and cheeses, Sushi, prepared Salads and Sandwiches.

Home of the Cardiff Crack ❤ If youve never tried it, theyre always cooking it out front under a tent. You can smell it from down the block. Ask for a sample and your life will change. Youre welcome. The market itself is stuffed with local goods and, though it is a bit of a markup, you can find a ton of great food here. If I were putting together a beach picnic in Encinitas, this is where Id go to get the goods.
