The owner and staff, lack product knowledge. They will always try to take advantage of you, even If you are trying to make a sizable purchase. A female employee was trying to sell me an old used Gucci watch for $1000.00, please keep in mind this is quartz watch with NO vintage value. Funny enough the same exact watch bran new can be purchased directly from the Gucci retailer for $349.00. The newer version can be purchased at anyone of your local Costcos for $459.00. Furthermore, the employee whom I believe to be one of the managers and/or related to the owner, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I understand the stigma and the overall dynamic of a "pawn shop"; however, there should be limitations or regulations to protect consumers from these scammers. A 300% markup on a used, diminished good is completely criminal. I understand that the normal demographic and clientele will dictate operations and procedures; yet, ownership must be within reason. This pawn shop will NEVER give you a fair deal and that can be expected. For those whom are trying to sell their belongings, try to understand that the Pawn Shop is not your friend and will always have their best interest in mind, very much like how you are. If ever trying to sell or pawn a luxury watch, there are specific high end collateral institutions that are willing to give you a better deal. I suggest looking into that.

I HAD GONE TO TRADERS FOR20 YRS AND THEY ALL OF A SUDDEN WITH NO NOTICE WENT UNDER NEW MAGMENT ,AND LITERALLY STOLE 400.00 FROM US,I THEN WENT TO 5 MINUTE AND WAS IN TEARS ABOUT LOSING MY WEDDING RING . I MET THE OWNER WHO WAS VERY VERY CARING AND VERY HELPFUL. WHO TRUELY CARED ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AND WANTED TO HELP AND DID.GO THERE AND YOU WILL GET KNOWLEDGEABLE CARING SERVICE.ITS NOT ALL ABOUT MONEY TO THEM ITS OLD TIME VALUES AND PEOPLE FIRST.THANKS AGAIN 5 MINUTE PAWN SHOP. Decent people, but didnt like my experience at all. Brought an assortment of merchandise that the owner offered me $100 for. I went to another shop in which I got $425 & still had some stuff left over. My suggestion, dont ever go here, they will lowball you! I look like Im in my early 20s but am 38 years old. Seems like they will "try" to take advantage of you if you seem like you "need" money. Dont sell yourself short here.

i went in there with three items that i purchessed in jan and feb .the Items i took were in great condition the price i paid total for the 3 items $385.00 the clerk offered me 30 dollars .this place is a joke ,dont waste your time going there.i took my items to another shop and got $120

Do you research, know what your stuff is worth. The business is to try and pay as little as they can sell it for as much as they can. There are better places.
