This is my #1 go-to shopping center for any and all things. You can find just about everything that you might need from Food, Retail, Home improvement, sporting goods, and even hotels for those who are visiting the area for business or vacationing. Parking depends on the time of day and time of week you go so if you are there on a weekend dont be surprise to find the parking areas to be pretty full, regardless you will still have access within a short walk to either area of the whole center. I like that the front area of the street has those tall signs with a little bit of the local history. You might notice the top of the signs have different airplanes. Those are the planes that were made back when the Burbank airport had Lockheed Corporation On the north end of it which was there in 1928 til about 1995 when it was tore down. some of the planes that where made there are P-38J Lightning, YP-80A, C-69 and several others. So next time you look up at those signs with the planes at the top youll remember why they are there.

I was trying to kill time and decided to do a little shopping. Because of all the construction in the mall there was only two ways in from each and of the mall. It caused major traffic delays and you cannot go around. The only way to get from one end of the mall to the other is driving straight in front of the stores. Now youre competing with all the other Shoppers trying to get from one side to another. I only went to several stores and shopping was a breeze but then trying to get out of the mall was difficult. The quickest way to get from one end to the other without stopping is actually going through the back side. I needed to get to the north side of the mall but was closer to the South side so I went South to the end of the mall and then looped around the back to get to the north side. I dont know how long this construction is going to last but its been going on for quite some time. I wont go back until construction is complete.

Sucks now. Too many d-bags trying to get to the Walmart to abuse their EBT cards and they have no consideration, ability to reason, or patience for pedestrians or other vehicles which may come in between them and their taxpayer-bought beer and cheese puffs. The parking lot is an abortion across the entire shopping center. One can assume they will remedy this, but nothing will fix the type of crowd a super Walmart brings to an already "classy" shopping area. Its crowded with a whole bunch of folks that literally have no spatial awareness or comprehension of their surroundings, posted signs, how four way stops work, function of lines which most people wait in at registers, or anything else clearly posted on -NORMALLY- easy to read signs. If you read this and are confused by the word spatial, youre probably one of the poeple about which I am speaking.

I dislike the layout of this mall, with the parking lot being the center of the mall and the stores on the edges. The walks can be very long from one end to the other and walking through the parking area is not pedestrian friendly. Say you need to shop at Ulta and then Lowes, its best to drive from one to the other. That just seems to defeat the purpose of having all the stores in the same place! Also, the outdoor areas for people to walk and to sit are small and surrounded by cars and are entirely outdoors. So I avoid this mall and go elsewhere if I can, but they do have Lowes and Target and of course there is Crispy Cream and Outback... so its not all that bad. (There are changes happening, but its not clear what they are yet.)

I wont be coming back here for a very long time since you decided to close the parking lot in the afternoon due to a car club showing up at night. That meant I did not buy a vacuum cleaner at Best Buy because I would have had to carry it many hundreds of feet to the few parking spaces left that you did not close down. And the many parking lot attendants were not told what was going on so they had no answers. Not even guys with security badges knew what was going on. Eventually I found the anonymous sign about the car club which the Burbank Empire Center didnt even put their name on. I guess you didnt want to take any heat for caving in to a bunch of kids and closing your parking lot in the afternoon just because they show up at night.

Its no upscale mall, but its a mall. The usual Macys, Sears, and then lots of weird cheap shoes stores, some bizarre finds like the geeky shop, not to be confused with the gaming shop thats across from the Japanese goods shop two floors up from the bead shop. Depending on what floor youre on, dont get hit by the train or the kids on giant stuffed animals. Looks like the place is facing a major revamp with the redevelopment of the IKEA location coming soon, so we will see if these odd shops stay or go. I hope they stay!

One star for the parking layout. Good God getting in and out of this center is a nightmare on busy days. The road to get out of the parking area to the main roads are always full of cars. Nobody wants to give way and let you in. Stop signs would help. But there are none of that. Then theres the construction by the freeway that doesnt seem to progress and no end in sight. Road congestion is terrible. The shops are great. I love it. But the parking traffic is TERRIBLE.

parking still a nightmare in this place, no matter how much they try to fix it.... Theres a variety of stores to choose from: Lowes, Staples, Target, Michaels, TJMax, Marshalls, Tillys, Aaron Brothers, Best Buy, Ulta, Walt MArt, Nordstrom Rack....and more. Youll also find great places to eat, Sharkys, Olive Garden, Krispy Kream, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Hometown Buffett...etc. Lots to choose from. Theres also a Wells Fargo ATM for you to be able to get money out to spend ....

One of the worst designed layouts Ive ever seen. Its like a giant donut, Stores around the outer edge and a vast parking lot in the middle. The problem is that there is a very busy road cutting the access to the stores in half and there isnt any good way to cross that road! It seems the ownership is attempting to upgrade the parking lot but they dont seem to be doing anything to address the crossing problem.

Its a typical shopping center, clean, safe, variety of shopping, however I went during Halloween weekend and they were re-striping the parking lot, which was very poor timing to do on a weekend, a busy weekend and when another building (old sports authority) is under construction... as a person in the construction industry this is an easy and basic thing to avoid. Poor planning on owners part.
