Going to Rave 18 is like playing Russian roulette with 3 rounds in the chamber. Odds are, youre going to have a less than satisfactory experience. Im tired of gambling with this place, and will go to Arclight instead. -------------------- Been going to Rave 18 for 5 years, and at least 75% of the time, the experience is ruined by a disrespectful and inconsiderate audience. Youve got the sassy lady who wont put her phone away when the film starts. The "crew" behind you who are the only ones bellowing in laughter at everything not funny. The jackass looking like R Kelly, who has to *YAAWWWNN* multiple times during a quiet moment in a film so that everyone can hear him, intermittently blended with squeaking his chair. Someone, just 1 row back actually had the gall to answer their phone and talk on it quietly (like that would make it ok). The person next to me and myself synchronistically turned our heads and stared at him. He stowed his phone a few seconds later, but the deed was done. About the only time Ive had a good experience is when going to see a film like The Hobbit, or paying for the most expensive show available, or going to a show before 11AM. Ill leave it to you to figure out why... I recently arrived early at a film, and went to their bar for a quick beer. There was one tender taking care of a group of 3 girls, who had no idea what they wanted except to ask a freight of questions. The barman didnt acknowledge me for 5 minutes, and thats not an overestimation. Terrible beer choices too. Once I got into my showing, the projectionist left us with a blank screen for almost 2 minutes, so the film started part-way in. But something was off... The lens wasnt aligned or something. It was unwatchable. 4 guys including myself went out into the lobby to let the staff know, who acknowledged the problem but showed no concern. Maybe 7 minutes into the film, someone finally corrected the projector. Im also sick of having to sneak in my healthy snacks because all American theaters prefer to sell poison for outrageous prices. Go to Rave 18 at your own discretion.

I love the center but NEVER go to the movie theater Horrible services ! too many people have gotten harassed . my experience: I am 17 . At all other movie theaters if you are 17 you are allowed to go to a Rated R movie so i assumed that was the case . i went to park my car and had my friend buy my ticket . we finally go upstairs to see the movie and the ticket guy " Daveon " . Wouldnt take my ticket he said i needed to go change it . So at this point like anyone else im irritated so i go downstairs and change my ticket to a PG-13 movie go back upstairs and he still will not take my ticket . At this point im getting upset i just want to go watch my movie and call it a night . I asked him 6 times to take my ticket in these exact words " i went to change it its a whole new movie can you rip my ticket so i can go " still he holds me and my friend there . I guess someone thats over Daveon seen me getting irritated and told me if i didnt like services i could go and they would give me my money back . BUT she did not say anything about Daveon holding me and my friend back . So i explained to her the situation and she said " well you have to wait for him if he doesnt want to he doesnt want to " so i was beyond upset ( i wasnt yelling or anything though i just had a bigger attitude and didnt ask nicely like i was doing before ) I said " can you rip my ticket already so i can go to my movie cause im bout to hand you the ticket and walk through i paid my money its a PG-13 movie and im 17 theres no need for any more clearance " still he laughed and didnt rip my ticket so i ripped it for him gave him his ripped half and walked to my movie . all he did was laughed and laughed . This should not be the type of services thats should be given i will NEVER come up here again . The fact that the supervisor didnt care that he was toying with me was beyond disrespectful ! Harassing people and what not . also thie is not the first time from what ive heard that daveon was harassing someone .

I will never go back to this movie theater. For a start the theater was filthy. Stains on the seats. Stink of rank, stale popcorn permeating the air. The screen was not sharp. Slightly blurry. Nowhere near as good quality as Arclight. Then, the clientele is seriously ghetto level. At least half a dozen people on their cellphones during the main feature. Even after being asked by several patrons to turn them off, they continued - with the bright white LCD screen distracting from the movie whle they surfed the web or twittering or whatever. It was so unbearable that I had to walk out. I spoke with the manager and told him what I thought. The only good thing I can say about this place was that he gave me a refund. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

The MOVING SEATS and 4-D experience youve been searching for or at THIS CINEMARK located at the Promenade Howard Hughes. Selection of food inside the theater is limited, but they will cook FRESH FOOD for you and not limit you to the AMC theater menu (consisting of only hot dogs comma terrible nachos, and pizza slices that are worse than 7-Elevens). I only come to the Promenade for the movies and then hanging out at Dave & Busters or Buffalo Wild Wings after. Parking definitely helps and they have a fair price on the amount of hours you get for free w/ validation. Restaurant selection could be MUCH better which is why I could only give it four stars.

This center really aged quickly. It is not pedestrian-friendly, yet has the most bizarre, disjointed parking structure with irregular, odd, difficult to find passages from the parking to the actual mall. Restaurants on the perimeter can only be accessed from street side rather than from the mall, itself, yet none have easy to find entrances from the parking structure. This is truly a poorly designed shopping and dining center. I never felt very safe here - after the violent armed robbery of the Nordstrom Rack, I seldom return. Hopefully the renovation that is now underway will improve the layout, security, and overall feel of the mall.

This Theatre is no longer Available in IMAX format; Meaning this place loss the (IMAX Franchise) its sad that happened... It was one of my favorites. It still has the same screen dimensions (one of the biggest in the country! Unfortunately it loss the IMAX Certified Equipment that can handle remarkable screen effects, Unlike the Real D Experience this is not what you pay almost $20 for. I want my IMAX theater back please! Bring back The Bridge! Over all this Theater is a good Theatre not the greatest Theatre, like its previous version. Clean, large, nice staff. Lots of shops.

Ive been coming to this place since I was little, and still enjoy coming here (even with all the construction taking place). I had noticed it kind of going down hill in the weeks leading up to the start of construction, but honestly, this whole area feels like its making a comeback, which is nice. I never have any issues coming to the Cinemark theater or eating at one of the few restaurants still open. Im optimistic that itll turn out much better once all the construction is said and done and new stores are leased in. It certainly never hurt for foot traffic before.
