Well how do I start first of all of the rooms are very nice I like the fact that you can look at the TV set from either the lounge or the bedroom they have huge walk-in showers amazing gorgeous countertops with Bowl Riser sinks Art Deco windows in the door going into the bathroom the accommodations on the rooftop pool are very nice setting very nice Lounge Cabanas very close to the pier and all the dining really good comedy shop directly across the street in the same complex actually and one of my favorite places Restoration Hardware this is a great place lots of fun strong and recommended I feel like Im in downtown Chicago or New York when I go there strongly recommend a great value some ice a good thing for the buck very nice settings also great for traveling for shopping or business out of all the places I stay and I do stay at many I would give this one a rating of a 9 to attend the food service is excellent the dining is very good the bar is very friendly the drinks are cold and tasty again I strongly recommend

Actually I dont hate it because its been over fifty years since I have been the. The one star simply is because...I dont know what its Like today......Only that its not what it was in the early 1940s when I visited it often with my Mom and an Aunt that accompanied us. During war II, the place was loaded with sailors and other googled eyed tourist. The many booths with pretty girls calling out to the sailers to come over and knock the bottles down and Win a stuffed bear, the booth with .22 rifles to shoot the diamond out of a playing card to win a prize, a museum with many oddities , the house of mirrors, the bumper cars, double ferris wheel, One hell of a roller coaster that extended into or near the ocean, There was enough to keep one busy all evening plus so much more. But that was 75 yrs. ago. Will not assume its not entertaining today....but its not what it was for sure.

The Pikes Outlet is right across from Long Beach Convention Center, just a few minutes walk away. Although this is newly renovated, this "outlet" doesnt have major appeal to draw someone to come here to shop exclusively. There arent many retail stores here (Id only come here for Columbia), but there are other attractions nearby (the Ferris wheel, close proximity to the harbor, and aquarium) which add some entertainment value to this center. Parking: 2 hours free with retail shop validation; Cinemark ~ 3 hours validation The parking situation here makes me not want to shop here: 2 hours to shop is not enough, considering part of that time is finding a parking spot after you enter the parking structure.

The eating locations are all so dated and played out. I used to bring my family here on special occasions or just to get some ocean air. Your basic places like famous daves or chilis are way overpriced for the kind of mediocre food they sell, dennys quality. The service isnt that great either. I understand that this is long beach last dying tourist trap, ours only about the seasonal money as locals see this place everyday and its nothing exciting our new. I say bulldoze everything and Rebuild AMERICAN businesses again! God Bless America :)

I havent gone to the Pike in awhile, I remember way back when there was a book store there and everything was literally closed, it was like a ghost Plaza. Fast forward to now and theres a ton of stores now. Popular ones include; Nike, H&M, gap, forever 21 and a bunch of others. The restaurants are all across the street. Parking was extremely easy with the two parking structures they built, we stayed for around 5 hours, got our ticket validated at the restaurant and ended up paying around $9. Not bad.

Parking here is a toss up. Sometimes its great when the lots open. But sometimes you make plans then you get there and the parking structure is closed and theres no where to park and it ruins your plans. After experiencing this several times weve decided never to go there again. Too bad - the Cinemark there is probably the best theater in the Long Beach area, but what good are tickets to a great theater if you get there and theres no parking.

nice outlets--its nice to be able to go to a Nike outlet that ISNT in the boonies. Selection is about the same as what youd get at Ontario Mills, but the weather is so much better. This outlet is outdoors, and is walking distance to many of the other great Long Beach attractions. You can get to the aquarium of the pacific in about 3 minutes walking. Parking is in a big structure--first hour is free, then you have to pay.

This place is nice its got a handful of shops but mostly dining. The best thing about it is its an outdoor shop so theres no need to be suffocated indoors with lots of people. Also this place is crowd free not much people come here which is a good place to avoid getting trampled when a sale hits. The problem about this place is parking is a hassle and it seems like the parking has an hour limit.

I thought the parking was great if validated. The rest of down town Long Beach is a different story. I hadnt been to Long Beach in 20+ years. Nice area, quaint little "board walk", good service decent prices except for Famous Daves, didnt think the food is anywhere near the quality for the price we paid for it... Theres a movie theatre that has recliners for seats. Awesome stuff....

Beautiful place to spend some time there. I dont think its really an "outlet" based on the prices but it still offers wide range of choices for shopping. Across the street you can find plenty of restaurants and theres a Starbucks within The Pike and a movie theater as well. Dont go there specifically but if youre visiting Long Beach then you probably should go there at least once.

Too much food options, not enough clothing or other options. This is a waste of money and buildings that are collecting cobwebs and dust. Where are all the big box retailers? Gimme something to stay in downtown Long Beach! Make it nice! Like The Grove or Americana at Brand! Why cant it happen here? So sad and looks sad too. Only a matter of time when the movie theater closes down.
