Came here on a Tuesday after work looking for something nice to give my wife for our 2 year wedding anniversary. I had an idea to recreate her Fall-themed wedding bouquet that had all sorts of organic/earth tone flowers. I was met by a friendly guy who I believe was named John who was more than happy to help. We chatted about marriage and wives and all sorts of bay area related things while he picked out various flowers from all over the shop over about 20 minutes. Each time he would bundle it and compare to the picture I gave him of the bouquet and go back to pick more. In the end he gave me this set that left my wife floored with how closely it resembled the colors of her bouquet and thrilled at the idea of getting to see her wedding bouquet around the house for the next week. All in all Im more than pleased and thankful to the staff here for making it an unforgettable 2nd anniversary.

I have used Ashby Flowers for a number of years. I recommend them highly as your local florist. I get excellent service as I often call with short notice and ask for “a nice bouquet” or “a very nice bouquet” give a price range and they make lovely bouquets at VERY reasonable prices. On rare occasions I have used some of the more local snobby “flower artist” type florists and have been disappointed and significantly overcharged. I have had the florist wait after closing to give me flowers (stuck in traffic) and had them leave flowers in the back on a Sunday afternoon after closing. They really go out of their way to help and be nice! I recently had a funeral and with very short notice the flowers were made beautifully and delivered to Lafayette early in the morning. Marcy and her family and staff provide superb service at very good prices, I recommend them highly. jjm

This is why small businesses exist. The personalized service and advice for my daughters wedding could not have been more perfect. Marcy took one of the most vexing aspects of the affair and set us at ease long before the finial day and greatly eased the tension for such an important day. She transformed the location into the most beautiful setting and at a price well below others who did not inspire the same confidence. The best part of all was us getting the compliments for doing such a great job when actually we left it all to her. Cannot recommend them enough.

Ashby Flowers is the whole package. Beautiful, fresh flowers everyday, and the owners are just the nicest folks. I love supporting the locally owned small businesses - they truly care about the customers needs. Weve done two events with Marcy & Iraj (200+ guest), and well use them for any future event we host.
