This review is in regards to the pharmacy only. I was very uncomfortable with an infection that I needed to get my antibiotic for. My doctor phoned in the prescription to Rite Aid, Solano Square, a little before 8:30. Since the drug store posts its hours as open until 10, I figured Id give them a little time to fill the prescription and then go pick it up. When I got there, the prescription was there, but they hadnt typed it up yet. And they were closing (at nine, not 10 as posted on-line). So, instead of seeing that I was distressed, typing up the prescription right then, and letting me get my medication, they argued that they didnt have my prescription typed up because there were others in front of me (not people. There were no other people there, just the paper work). And they refused to fill my prescription or even give me the paper prescription so that I could go to another pharmacy to fill it. I was left with no medication for the night. I found this to be unbelievably regimented thinking, showed a total lack of problem solving ideas, non-empathetic (after all, the people who come to a pharmacy are sick), and just, well, stupid, really.

The only time youll see a smiling face behind the pharmacy is in there pictures. I tried to call the pharmacy to ask about a ten day over due prescription. Before I can finish my sentence I am interrupted by a crabby sounding woman who wants my b day. I told her it would be nice if she waited for me to finish speaking. She put me on hold and never returned. This is not the first time rudeness from the pharmacy staff has left me steaming. Looking for a new pharmacy. Talked to the manager of the store and he took care of all my concerns. When your sick and in pain you want to talk to someone who listens. Thank you Robert for listening.

I have always had nothing but great experiences with the Pharmacy here. I dont even have to tell them my name,they take the time to get to know the people that come in. They go out of their way to make sure you get the best price (wellness or ins cards). I really appreciate the personal touch.

RiteAid in Benicia is very nice.. I have been treated with respect and good customer courtesy.. The people are friendly & the pharmacy dept.. Is always good to my Mom & myself.. The copays are decent prices and I love the Plenti point system. . Its a great way to save. Thumbs up !

Rite Aid in Benicia is awful. The pharmacy is the worse. Slow is way too fast a description for them. I just now called to see if my prescription was ready and they hung up on me. Where is the management for this store?

They dont start filling a prescription until your there in person and you wait the 20 minutes even if the doctor called it in the day before they are slow and quite rude

Rite Aid ice cream is my favorite in all of Benicia. The staff are always friendly and the ice cream is tasty for a great price.

Pharmacy never has prescriptions on time and pharmacy staff is always "swamped." Get more staff or new excuses.
