I had never used Pep Boys before, and went online to buy some parts to do a service on my car. I was really excited with how intuitive the web site was, and how I was able to pre pick my order then take the form in to pick it up in person. Saves wandering around the isles. Prices were great, great promotion on too! Unfortunately my experience went a little downhill once I got to the store. I walk to the parts counter to request my order, and the guy behind the counter stocking a shelf insists "Someone will be with you in a minute"..... continues stocking the shelf. It was about 5 minutes until he got on the intercom and asked for a colleague to come and assist. A little later a colleague came, picked my order and had me on my way. Its only a minor thing, and I will go back, but I really felt like the in store staff (both the first guy I spoke with and the associate that helped with my order) were not at all interested in me being there. Almost like I was pulling them away from something more important. I wont let my experience with a couple uninterested customer service associates turn me away, but it was a bit of a downer considering how awesome the online experience was with getting my order together.

I had three large batteries that I had to buy the store on Pacific Coast Highway only had two they gave me 10 percent off and advise me to come to the store to buy the third one Dyspepsia boys does not seem to believe they are part of a network of pep boys and on the same team They insisted that they have to sell it for list price and they can not honor the same deal the other Pep Boys made unless I go to my car and bring my receipt back Upon returning with my receipt she was nowhere to be found The first two batteries took 10 minutes to buy and I got 10 percent off.... The third battery at this location took 35 minutes to buy and after a lot of aggravation they reluctantly gave me the same 10% offer I wonder how many millions of dollars Pep Boys has spent on their brand name and their image to have it all go to waste so quickly Very sad and a sign of poor management and training usually this type of issue is routed from upper management all the way down Its amazing that they acted offended that I did not buy all three batteries from them definitely did not care that the other store I shop that was a pep boys as well shame on their incentive policies that me the customers out in the cold :-(

worst two weeks ever! will never go back! I went to get an electronic diasgnostic because my truck wouldnt start on occasion unless i gave it a jump, battery was brand new (from the same pep boys). they diagnose and say it is the cam shaft sensor that is going bad, ok they change it and charge me parts and labor. Eight hours later same issue and i am starnded yet again. I bring it back and i was told it was the crank shaft sensor this time! Why not just change/ check for both issues the first time? now still under warranty and under the same issue, they want to charge me for the labor and part or else they would hold my truck until it was paid! I put a stop payment on that charge and let my credit card company deal with it. A week later same issue and i was told different stories by different techs. "starter needs to get changed" "connection wires need to get changed" Forget pep boys, the manager is as incompetent as the rest of those techs. will never step foot here again and advise everyone else to do so. Took my truck to another mechanic and he properly diagnosed and fixed the problem, neither the sensors or the starter needed changing. thanks for stealing my money pep boys!

Brought in my car and payed about $300 and they accidentally broke my windshield so they replace it for free obviously. Once I take the car home the windshield has a scratch in it. This compromises the safety of the glass and could break easily. So we let them know and they ask us to take it back on scheduled day and turns out that they didnt have the windshield and out car was out there parked for hours and they didnt call us to pick it up. Hey could have called us hours after later. When I asked to speak with the guys who was in charge of taking the car in, he completely avoided me. First he was in the restroom, then inside the shop, then he was in meeting, then he was on break. It was so obvious he was hiding. So I dont recommend this crap place unless you want to leave with more problems.

Ugly customer service I wdo not recommend, the fat manager is rude they tell you 30 -40 min and it turns out to be 1 hour 30 min and nobody communicate with you..rude place..do not go there the only good person was Humberto really nice guy, but the morning fat manager, and if nobody ever told him, well he looks like a pig in a blanket and his morning crew all came late the store was did not open till 8:20 very unprofessional all rude KEY WORD RUDE,RUDE,RUDE...NEVER GO THERE..THE guy WHO CHANGED MY OIL SPILT OIL ALL OVER MY MOTOR..HELLO HOME OFFICE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS...YOUR STORE IS A MESS, THE WHOLE TOME I WAS THERE NOT ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES TALKEC TO ME, NO ONE CLEANED THE BATHROOM AND THE WAITING ROOM WAS A MESS SO DIRTY....nobody go there, BOYCOTT PEPBOYS..

Worst experience ever!! Only one decent person there, the others were either lazy and looked liked they didnt want to be working there. Mechanics are rude and you can tell they dont have a very high IQ. As I walked in the the service area the person in charge was getting reamed by another unfortunate customer. Bought the battery and they gave me problems about free installation even though I had a coupon. Then they told me to reverse my transaction and have they run my card a second time at the service counter. They took forever to assist me so I left. They could care less!

Worst service Ive had in a long time! So I go in to pick up some tires I had purchased and as Im waiting in the tire and service line there are three guys standing at three different registers without even acknowledging me; didnt ask me if I needed anything or didnt inform me that someone would be with me in a moment, so after I finally get help only because I had to ask another employee to get their attention. Once I purchase the tires no one even offered to help me carry them out the store. I will never go there again thats for sure.

I took my Volkswagen touareg v8 to them for a oil change and they stripped a screw on my oil pan it was leaking bad ,I had to go to another pep boys and get it fixed so pep boys in bellflower ca,will never get my business again they didnt even tell me what they did just gave me paperwork to sign and gave me my keys n told me nice truck.good night

Bunch of lazy liars here! Its been 7 days since i took vehicle to get warranty work done. They were suppose to send pictures to the warranty dept and still havent. The manager Jose is a liar. Told me he sent them and confirmed it with warranty dept. I personally called warranty department and they never spoke to him or got pictures. Stay away!!
