Everything(almost) you thought you can only get in Asia is here. Thats an exaggeration, but I was able to find ingredients not only for Chinese, but for South East Asian like Thai, Malaysian, Indonesia, Singapore; East Asian, like Vietnam, Korean, Japanese, etc. The variety of produce such as vegies, meat, are quite varied compares to Ralphs and Vons. That said, the freshness of these produce are sometimes questionable, so one has to be quite careful. Price is another plus, they are usually 10-50% cheaper than Ralphs and Vons.

I go here every month for Chinese specialty items. The store is well maintained and stocked. It has a fresh bakery as you walk in...nice produce area...and live fish tanks. Dont go during lunch hours to go shopping because the lines are pretty long then. You can sign up for a points card and earn $$$ for future shopping.

Recently a lot new renovation in this 99 Ranch. They replace the boring old fashion bakery to a new franchise one. Better selection of breads and also serve coffee too. This 99 ranch is small similar like Monterey Park, but in a better location. Parking is easier and less worry getting out the lot.

Its your typical Chinese market: good affordable produce and other items, great bakery and food section to the right of the store, and filled with many loud people. One of the best markets in the area to do your weekly shopping for anything from cooking for the family to having a large party.

I love ranch 99. They have very good prices compared to many of the grocery stores around. They also have a bakery. It probably wont surprise many folks but this site caters heavily to Chinese. Many of the workers dont speak English very well. My basic Chinese skills sale me to get by though.

Crowded and inefficient but it has everything you are looking for, including a butcher and fishmonger. If you go on weekends, expect it to be a zoo and the produce will be mostly picked over by Sunday, but its the best selection of any of the Asian grocery markets in the area.

Best place to shop for Asian groceries. Also best place to shop for some western ingredients too. Pre-Peeled garlic, fresh and cheap. Green onions for cheap, broccoli, etc. On your way out, stop at the bread stall in the corner of the store and get a couple treats.

Much more pleasant place to visit after remodeling. Bread Farm and the food court atmosphere is welcoming. Prices need to be lower overall to compete and checkout lines are confusing and can present a conflict with aggressive shoppers who cut in line.

This Ranch 99 is crazy busy. If u can go to another place to shop, I would. The parking and line to pay is crazy. This is first time where i saw lines to pay that was 1/2 way down the aisles. Never been to such a packed Ranch 99.

This location has a bakery inside like JJs. I go here for the seafood as beef is priced higher here, the shrimp usually is always on sale here, they had today the 30/40 shrimp for 5.99/lb. Gotta make that anniversary dinner.

Modern Chinese grocery store. Produce and meat are good quality. Clean. They have take out food if you are lazy to cook. Bread farm inside has good baked bread and savory goods, though their dessert is lacking.

This is a smaller 99 market that carries most of your Chinese stuff. It also has a 3rd party bakery shop on the side. One thing that really annoys me is that isles are way too packed and hard to maneuver.
