(copy and paste from Yelp) So much to say about this dealership that unfortunately I have to start with the Cons. CONS: Their saying on every online listing of "Our friendly customer service reps are not commision based and are here striving to create the easiest car buying experience for you" is a COMPLETE LIE. They are 100% commission based on the way they sell a vehicle. They also state "Come see us for a nice, haggle free car buying experience" which is true ONLY if you dont count the $995 LoJack fee they add onto the online listed price. They say its added on every vehicle so make sure to add over $1000 to the final price of the vehicle when you go in. (Its over $1k because they add sales tax onto the $995 fee as well). BUT GUESS WHAT! If you make a deal and walk away from them theyll waive the WHOLE THING!! We dealt with 3 different people at this dealership. The first guy (sorry I forgot his name) was generally nice and not so pushy and looking to make a deal. To be fair, my MIL was more pushy and asking for lots of discounts/cuts so I feel sorry that we took up this persons time. The second guy, Joshua Medina, came off as a nice and helpful guy until you try to talk some numbers (negotiating the LoJack fee) with him. When THEY thought they settled on a price to get my fiancé to sign, Joshua said they "lets stop wasting each others time, youre going to sign it anyway" he was taken aback by how pushy that comment was (which made him not want to sign it even more). Also my MIL stated that she would like 10 minutes to talk about the deal and then Joshua had the nerve to say "Ill give you 5 minutes" with an attitude. We were speechless at that point but I did think to myself that if they want our money Ill take as much time as we want. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. There were a few other snide moments that I wont get into or this review would be way too long but in general one of the most pushiest salesmen Ive come across. The third person, the "sales manager", chased us out to our car as we sat IN THE CAR awkwardly talking to him. For a car dealership that isnt commission based and "haggle free" this seemed like an awfully desperate move. He tried to get my fiancé to tell him what went wrong with the transaction and began to lecture him about how the Volt is superior to the Bolt and Prius, etc when he mentioned either cars. TBH I zoned out after him asking the same question 3 times and my fiancé giving the same answer 3 times, that he is not the kind of person to impulse buy a vehicle. We thought we could check out a Volt where the supposedly non-commissioned salesmen with the "haggle free" price would not push us to buy. DO NOT be fooled by their disillusioned "low price" because after $1k hidden fee, its an "okay" price. (But apparently you can get this waived anyway) And *IMPORTANT* we suspect most of their cars are vehicles dealerships deemed not worth certified preowned in their own lots. They had minor (or major) damages (check paint discoloration, damages, etc thoroughly!) The Volt we were looking at had an entire quarter panel repainted terribly. To the dealership: I recommend that you remove the "haggle free" and "not commission based" statements from your website because they are misleading. That or you can change your sales approach. Actually I recommend both. PROS: Free cold bottled water. (but its Arrowhead).

This is Darlene using a different account to post the same review I placed on yelp. I wanted to make sure everyone knows my experience with this dealership.. Lets start with the good...... The Chevy Volt was priced right. Now the bad..... The salesman Cameron promised that the scratches on the rear bumper would be fixed or touched up... Failed to do so 1 day prior to picking up the vehicle I called to let them know I was coming in and to have the vehicle washed and ready...... Again major fail. the vehicle was unwashed and filthy. It smelled on the inside and had leaves in the trunk lid crevices. I told the finance manager(owner?) and got a shrug. LET ME REITERATE THAT IM GETTING A VOLT... AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE.....YOU WOULD EXPECT THE DEALERSHIP WOULD KNOW TO CHARGE THE VEHICLE UP PRIOR TO TRANSFERRING IT TO A BUYER. No that was to much to ask... Ok maybe we would have a full tank of gas like all other dealership would do prior to receiving the vehicle. AGAIN TO MUCH TO ASK.... So I had a 25 mile range to get it home. Nice right? Seeing the car in this condition, I asked to take another vehicle on the lot and pay a couple hundred more (as stated in the contract).... AGAIN I GOT A NO! The manager would not do that either. Honestly, save yourself the heart ache go to CarMax. Yes the cars are a bit more expensive but its a professional establishment and will treat you right.

I am a huge Chevy fan. Recently I have had a chance to get approval from Replace Your Ride program which gave me up to $9500 for getting a hybrid car. Since Anaheim pre-owned had lots of Chevy Volts in their lot, I was pleased to visit the dealer. However, soon, my experience became a huge letdown. The car that I purchased had lots of scratches and windows chipped. Not only that, the car came with busted turn signal lens on side mirror. The dealer advertises their cars as clean titles, but if you purchase history reports and check all of them, they had prior accidents. Buyers Beware. Not only that, they even refuse to admit cars have problems and dont budge to give discount. Worse, their so called manager follow buyers if they refuse to buy and start to scream at them in threatening manner. If you want to purchase used electric cars in this, make sure to check all details or simply walk away from them.

Been looking and testing cars for three weeks. Decided to give this place a try and was I blown away. We hated every place we went, everywhere else seemed far to pushy and trying to shove a "deal" down our throat while acting if they were my friend. Everyone at Anaheim Preowned Cars gave us the space we needed and when we needed questions answered they would answer it for us, with no bs (which we got used to). We noticed that the coolent for the car was a tad low (from precious owner) it was a Sunday and their shop was closed and locked.A sells representative immediately walked to a gas station up the street for coolent after finding out they couldnt use their own. I could not recommend this place more and have already to friends and family. Down to earth people who sell cars, good time altogether, thanks for the dream car.

I worked with Matt to purchase a Chevy Volt through the Replace Your Ride program in December 2015. The purchasing experience was excellent -- I didnt feel pressured to spend more than my budget, and I got an excellent price on a car I am quite happy with. (Since their prices are fixed, you dont have to go through the unpleasant process of haggling or getting swindled). Matt was knowledgable about electric and hybrid cars -- more so than salespeople at other companies I visited (e.g., Carmax). They have the Replace Your Ride program dialed in. Working with them made the process easier to go through! I would highly recommend that anyone looking to buy a pre-owned car -- especially electric or hybrid -- purchase it from Anaheim Pre-Owned Cars! (My wife also got a Nissan Leaf from them, and was quite happy with it).
