UPDATE: See below for our full review of Nick at Driveline but just wanted to leave an update. We have now driven the car approximately 25,000 miles from the time of purchase (when it had about 20,000 miles on it) and it is still performing flawlessly. We have done routine maintenance on it but have not had any other troubles. Car has taken us on road trips from San Diego to Oregon, San Diego to Monterrey, San Diego to Sequoia, no trouble on any of the trips. Only thing we have had to do is wash it what with all the miles and dust. Very satisfied customers here :-). We have been very pleased with our purchase from Driveline Motors. About 6 months ago my wife and I purchased a 2011 VW Jetta SportWagen with a salvage title. We were initially hesitant to purchase a salvage because we didnt what kind of quality we would get. Nick at Driveline was very helpful, however, accomodating the mechanic we hired to preview the car and everything checked out beautifully, just as described in the listing we found. When we drove up to meet with Nick and give the car a test drive ourselves, he was very courteous and thoughtful. He took the time to go through the various features of the car, allowed us a test drive, and when we decided to purchase, was very deliberate and methodical in working through all the paperwork involved. He described all the fees that would be assessed with the purchase and we were very pleased to find out that these were worked into the agreed upon cost of the car (nothing else added on top). He was also able to give us very accurate estimates of DMV fees that would be required so we were not blindsided by anything. After purchasing, I wanted to drive the car for a while before leaving a review. We have now been driving for 6 months (about 7,000 miles) including a recent trip from San Diego to Grants Pass, Oregon and the car has been FABULOUS. We havent had any trouble whatsoever. The engine has performed well, the nav system is wonderful, as far as we can see, the body of the car is in beautiful condition (no post-buy "surprises"), we have been extremely satisfied with this purchase. Summary: Nick sold us a solid car at a bargain deal. We would not hesitate to recommend this dealer.

I recently bought a used car from Nick from out of state. I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. Nick answered all my questions and any concerns I had in a timely manner. I absolutely love my car and could not have found a better deal...(I shopped around for months before I found Driveline Motors). I was very afraid to make a commitment to fly out to CA and buy a car unseen/undriven. Nick reassured me that I would be very pleased and through our multiple phone interactions I began to trust him. Nick picked me up at the airport in the car and I drove it back to the dealership. Hes a class act. He was very helpful in getting my car registered and made the loan and transaction go very smoothly. I was impressed with his knowledge. Nick was very professional throughout the whole process. I had one concern with a part he had ordered that didnt come in before I purchased the car and drove back to my state. Within a week he had contacted the Dealership nearest me, had ordered the new part and payed for it. He followed through from start to finish! I will definitely use Nick again when I am ready for a new car for my wife. I couldnt have been more happy with the entire process and have referred multiple friends to his dealership. If I could give a rating of 10 stars I would!!!! Thanks!

Bought a car from them four years ago. I thought it was a great deal. I bought a 2009 corolla. It was a lot cheaper than I found it to be at most places. Although it has never given me problems, I recently was in a car accident. A lot of it my insurance will not cover because they said the car had already been in a car accident and it had been really "badly realigned." Although I do not know much about cars when they showed me, it was obvious to me that they were right. I still believe that it was a pretty decent deal even after considering they were not honest with me. I took a mechanic with me the day I bought it, he told me as far as the engine went everything looked fine. He did point out that the paint was not original. When I questioned him about the paint, they told me they had no idea. Which to me was sketchy. If you are a dealer, you would know. The mechanic told me he thought it was a good deal and compared to others I had seen I thought so too. Ive had the car for four years and again as far as the motor goes, it has not given me problems but my recommendation would be to inspect the car thoroughly as most likely there is something defective. Just know what you are buying. I would have rated this a five had the dealer been honest with me.

BEWARE OF THIS CROOK LEMON DEALER September 2014 I bought a used 2007 Audi A4 from Nick. He assured me that the car was fully serviced and in great condition. First warning sign, within three days my oil runs dry. Two days later my car completely stalls out on freeway. Audi specialist found several alarming issues with the car: foul spark plugs, bad breaks, improperly installed and defective air pumps, severe suspension control arm wear and catalytic converter issues. My first bill was $800, the other pending repairs will be close to $3000 - if I even decide to keep the car. This was after 7 days of driving. All of these issues should have been caught by a basic inspection, which Nick either failed to do or intentionally kept from me. Nick is an unethical scammer. He preys on unsuspecting buyers and sells lemons. I tried to discuss the damage with him and he had the nerve to try to record the phone conversation and trick me into saying I caused the damage by driving the car a few miles without oil. He is obviously not very smart considering surreptitious recordings are not even permissible in court! The Better Business Bureau is investigating his business - that should be enough to drive any smart buyer away.

Driveline Motors is one of the best dealers out there with unbeatable car prices and excellent customer service. My agent of the day was Nick and he was very clear and thorough on everything from the car spec to the car deal. I got my first car there in July and it was a Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen SE 2.5L. The cars colors inside and out (Beige on Red) were very accurate in the pictures I saw on the website. As a pristine condition Volkswagen with a price well below ($3,000+ off) the average used car price, there wasnt anything really that made me rethink the purchase. It does have a salvage title but we saw picture of the minor cosmetic damage and were told about the reconditioning done to the car. Uncle Nick helped us all the way through by saving us trips to the DMV, repair shop, and smog check (there is a smog shop next door). I will definitely recommend Driveline Motors to my friends/relatives and be returning soon myself! +Ive driven the car for a while now and it performs well on any road condition. The cruise features, shifting modes, and braking system are all working optimally. Quality new tires were installed before the purchase. The car steers very well like a German car.
