Paul and I were among a few people who didn’t have a smart phone as we did not have a need to get one. In addition to a cell phone, Paul always carried a tablet and I carried a smart phone for work. However, a month ago, our teenage son insisted that he needed a smart phone. We bought 3 smart phones online through Verizon. Paul and my son started using the phones as soon as the phones arrived while I was on a business trip to the east coast. After I got back, I was told that Verizon was not able to remotely transfer the information saved in the old phones to the new ones. Next day, we visited Cellular Sales (a Verizon authorized store) and met with Michael Morrison. Michael opened a box and took a while to find out the correct cable for Paul’s old phone and started the transferring of contacts, photos, etc. While waiting for the transfer to complete, Michael unboxed and set up my new phone. It took many trials to figure out the cable that worked on my old phone and a much longer time to complete the transfer because the phone was in a quite old version and I had a lot of contacts and other saved information. Together, Michael worked more than 2 hours to complete the job. Michael was friendly, easy to talk to, patient, and knowledgeable. He handled the work very professionally. We are completely satisfied with the result. The store is in a convenient location, and has a good atmosphere as well as chairs for customers. We felt welcome as soon as we got into the store. We are lucky to have such a store in Alameda and will definitely visit this store again when there is a need.

Went in to finally get a new phone after a year of putting it off. I had previously been in to other Verizon stores and was unable to get an upgrade, though I was told numerous times on the phone that I was eligible. This completely changed when visiting the 5th street location in Alameda. One of the representatives, CJ, got me in and out within 15-20 minutes. He didnt excessively up-sale, or push any unnecessary accessories on me, which actually made me purchase some. That is easily one of the worst qualities in a sales person. I was glad that he was able to read what I wanted.I will absolutely be doing all future Verizon transactions here, even though it is not the closest to me.

I went to this store because my phone had no service. The guy, wearing a jacket and tie, told me there was something wrong with my internal antennae. He wanted to sell me a new phone, over $100, plus it would have added $17 a month to my bill. When I asked him why, he just said, "thats the way it is now." Also, I had a sim card that needed to be put in my jetpack, it was the wrong sim card but he could give me the right one for $15. I went to the verizon store in Emeryville where the tech got me a free replacement phone overnight delivered to my house, and the right sim card for free. Long story short, dont go to Alameda store unless you just want to throw away money.

After having lunch at Curry Up Now and left Sprint. Verizon was next up to check out. Bill as Americas most reliable network. I didnt need anything just wanted to check out clearance goods. Employee approached me asking what can he do for me today? I reply nothing just browsing. Took out my phone to check update on tech world right this minute. Article said T-MOBILE is only a point away from Verizon for fastest LTE coverage overall. That had me a little concerned, but Ill wait it out before jumping ship. Unlimited data plan are back and all four US carrier are cutting each others throat. Cant wait to see final results on this outcome.

I unexpectedly had to renew my smart phone. Needless to say I was not in the best mood when I walked into the Alameda Landing Verizon store. As soon as LeeAnn met me at the door with a smile and firm handshake, I knew this might turn out OK. As I explained my situation (SURPRISE, I need a new phone!) she identified the best bundle that would meet my needs without breaking the bank. From helping me compare devices, through set up and payment, her customer service and professional demeanor were second to none. She made sure all of my questions were answered and my experience enjoyable.

I walked in the store hoping to change my service provider and Valerie welcomed me into the store and helped me out, great customer service she helped me understand how to make my switch to Verizon smooth as possible, she took her time to make sure all my information was correct and even got my old number to transfer over. Offered to put a screen protector on my phone and help me with initial set up. Definitely felt welcome and in good hands through my whole switch, would definitely recommend Valerie to anyone that was interested in switching to Verizon.

The staff here is so kind and helpful. Every step in the process was thourougly explained and even help do our trade ins for us. From ordering the phones to completing the transfer of phones. Switching into a new phone can be a very stressful experience and Kim made it an enjoyable experience for me and my family. Thank you so much for always helping me with a genuine and warm heart. Im telling all my friends and family to come to Verizons newest location.

This is my go-to Verizon store. Not too busy, very clean and excellent customer service! Plenty of parking too! Just added a new line to my sons iPhone and it was fast and easy. Jack was not only very helpful but very knowledgeable. No big sales pitch - just great customer service. I would highly recommend this store to all Verizon customers or anyone interested in switching over.

Working with LeeAnn was a fun and easy experience. She helped me choose a new phone, replace that phone when I lost it a week later, and set up the replacement when it came in. LeeAnn explained all of my options in a friendly way, and didnt pressure me into buying extra accessories. She has a great, positive attitude. Best Verizon experience Ive ever had!

We went in to get myself a new IPhone 7 plus and we walked out with a new one one for my boyfriend as well. Plus we picked up a couple portable waterproof speakers. Sal and Cody were awesome and helped us along the way making sure that we were all set and ready to go. Thanks Guys. We highly recommend this store to anyone.

Not only is the staff very nice, professional and knowledgeable, but this location is beautiful. Inside and out it is a completely different experience.
