Training on how to treat senior customers badly needed by staff at this Verizon. Even though, it is the nearest store to me, I will gladly suffer the extra drive, awful traffic to go to the store in Oakland, rather then ever go back to this one, again. I was willing to give them a chance but, my last visit a few nights ago, clenched it. My best friend, was with me and she was just appalled. I have worked in Customer Service all my life and I know that during that time, I treated all my customers with concern and integrity. I realized, that they were actually helping me pay my rent, etc etc. The staff at this store like most Verizon stores, are young but, that is no excuse for the lack of commitment and disengagement. At 75, I know what I am talking about and, it saddens me, that old age, is not appreciated or dignified, at this store. After all, seniors, may not be as gadget crazy as the young crowd but, we do have mobile phones ( a must actually, when one is old). We deserve good service and courtesy. I remember once, when I first started in Customer Service, I had a call from what was clearly a Senior. This man, wanted some information on his account (credit card). At the end of our conversation, he said something I will never forget and it was, "Thank you for being kind and patient, not everyone is, now that I am old". Again, another senior, who did not get the respect he deserved. I want my words in this review, to be taken to heart. The employees of a company, have no idea, how their attitude and behavior, can damage the image of the company they work for. They dont deserve to have a job at all.

Unbelievable and EPIC FAIL, I went there with my laptop to have an "expert" supervise my Iphone backup. I even bought the girl helping me a Starbucks from next door so she would pay attention. after waiting 35 mins for the backup to finish, I had two employees verify the backup. They said "good to go" I went to the Mac store to get my replacement Iphone 7 and when I got home there was no backup from today. never completed...lost super valuable pics videos and contact from the last 10 months. DO NOT GO THERE for ANYTHING....they know less that you do.

Dismal is an understatement. Went in with a problem and the staff mocked it, laughed, and told me I was better off not doing anything about it. They then went on to say that if I really wanted to do something that didnt cost me an exorbitant amount of money, I should just go straight to the apple store and LIE to them about my phone being faulty. Very poor customer service, the staff is snarky, rude, and does a disservice to Verizon in general.

New management at this location, my experience was awesome. I read the reviews and was apprehensive about going but the staff was really helpful, patient, and had a healthy sense of humor. I spoke with the new manager and he explained that they brought in a entirely new crew to run the store because the previous groups performance was so dismal. I would highly recommend visiting this location.

The worst customer services. They dont know what they are doing really. They dont know the job. They make so many mistakes. The lady has bad manner which tried to hang up the phone when I was still talking to her about the mistake they did. Please dont go to this store unless you want to spend 3 hours in the store and keep going back there again and again for their mistake solved.

Awful customer service. Store was locked at 3:00 pm with a sign taped to the window, hand written in red marker "ON A 30 MIN BREAK". The store was locked with the same sign posted at 4:00 pm. So either; the employees of this store take frequent thirty minute breaks, or they dont quite have the concept of time mastered just yet. Either way Im not very confident in their abilities.

The employees at this location have no idea what they are doing. Need better training. I always go to the Oakland Lakeshore store but This store is closer to me. Had some questions regarding my phone they said things I asked couldnt be done. Went to Lakeshore Store ALL WAS done. Bad costumer service.

This is the worst store I have ever been in. The staff, one guy, was rude. They are always understaffed, and move at a glacial pace. If you got a couple of hours you want spend to get you cell business taken care of, this is the place where it will take that long. Worst. Experience. Ever.

They care only a little about you and not at all about Verizon. While they have intentions to help you, they dont think that far ahead about whether or not what they are doing actually helps you. I felt stupider leaving then entering and lost an hour of my life.

Not just rude and clueless, the young female asian employee gave me uncorrect information about a Verizon promotion costing me over 650 dollars out of pocket that was supposed to be covered in the promotion. I am guessing that poor management caused this.
