Our washer broke down, so we decided to head to Metro Appliances in North Little Rock, AR to shop for a new unit. When we arrived I spoke with a salesman that I did business with prior to this, Dow Martin. Mr. Dow Martin was very professional and provided a no nonsense opinion suggesting a product, or a product that was the top of the line model with useless functions. Well I decided to purchase the much more expensive model because I like Samsung products, and it was delivered the next day for a reasonable fee. I then came back that day and purchased the matching dryer because of Mr. Dow Martin and the service I had received. After the delivery man hooked up my washer, I discovered the unit was leaking water from the bottom. I immediately called Metro Appliances and spoke to the operator, who transferred me to the service department. I then spoke to the service operator who told me I would have to have Samsung come to my residence to fix the leak. I found this to be unacceptable because I just bought the unit and had it delivered. I then became furious and called back and spoke to the main operator and demanded to speak to Mr. Dow Martin who was not there due to an illness, so I requested to speak with any other salesman that can help me. I was then transferred to a man named "Todd" who didnt bother to listen to my complaint, rather just transferred me back to the service department. I spoke with a different service operator who did listen, but transferred me back to the main desk operator. Now feeling in a fit of rage, I demand to speak with a manager regarding the defective unit that was delivered. The manager was AWESOME! He listened to my complaint, seemed sincere, and assured me that they would be bringing me a new replacement washer with my new dryer unit I purchased. They also did not charge me a delivery fee for the second delivery, and gave me a free dryer electric cord for good measure! Now both units work fantastic, and I am highly pleased with Metro Appliances! I highly recommend asking for Dow Martin or Tom Parks, both salesman will give you the real facts, and not just try sell you the most expensive product so they can collect a bigger commission check. They will listen to your needs, and recommend an appropriate product for your budget and needs.

We bought a fridge from Metro and within a few weeks it began rattling very loudly. Metro sent someone out to fix it. When the pulled the fridge out, it tore up our floor. Metro did agree to repair the floor, which they eventually did. Two weeks later, it began rattling again. They came out and said they fixed it. A few days after that the rattle came back. This time Metro ordered a new fan for the compressor. A week or so later, the rattle came back. I called Metro and told them I want a new fridge or a refund. They said that they couldnt refund it since it has now been more than 30 days, despite the fact that I reported the problem within 30 days. Metro told me I have to talk directly to GE. GE sent a service guy out who said that he fixed it, even though he just adjusted the same thing on the compressor that the first Metro guy adjusted. Five service calls on a fridge and they wont refund it or replace it. Also there is a dent on the door from where the first service guy hit the corner of our island when he pulled the fridge out. I give Metro an extra star for at least trying to fix it, and for fixing our range hood and dishwasher, which also had problems. Overall I would recommend buying a fridge from Home Depot or Lowes, where you can at least return something.

Bought a freezer nearly a month ago and just got it damaged yesterday. With promises of returned calls which never come and shady salesman (which must have prerequisites in used cars) which sell people products they dont have and schedule deliveries they cant meet. Im mad as a wet hen and would love to have this set right. Had I read the previous reviews I would have never messed with them. They rescheduled delivery twice with nearly a 3 week delay, then when it arrives it is damaged (not a little either but seriously crushed with paint missing). I told the driver to take it back with him and have the salesman call. No call except for a week later when they call to tell me that they are bringing another one out in a couple minutes. After they finally listened long enough for me to explain I was out of town they came out when I got back. This freezer was also damaged, realizing that Im now making payments on an appliance I dont have I agreed to take it as long as the salesman called me back as I shouldnt have to pay full price for a damaged freezer. Have they called me? NO! Never again and I swear Ill do all I can to help others avoid the same fate!!!

When I remodeled my kitchen every appliance was furnished by this compay. Not sure what the odds of this are but literally every appliance in my kitchen has failed in the space of less than 7 years. Then believe it or not the experience got even more awful here. I had to replace my refrigerator after taking it to them and leaving it on the loading dock over the weekend as I was told on the phone to do by a female operator there. They later told me that they had recycled it rather than repaired it. Sold me a replacement one that failed in less than a month. Had their service men come to the house at high cost for the stove repair, which also failed again in less than a month. Was told that the next repair would be another $$$ even though the orginal payment was for the same repair which failed because they missed a $$ problem. Im convinced they have knowledge of selling and servicing defective appliances. Just my word of warning.

Exceptional Service!!!!!!! My family and I recently relocated to Little Rock Ar. We purchased a new home from a local builder, and when it came time to purchase appliances our builder sent us to Metro appliances and more on Maumelle Blvd. The salesman that our builder told us to ask for was not in the day we went, but another salesman told us he would assist us and the salesman we asked for would still get credit for our purchase. Coming from a cut throat sales job myself let me tell you thats absolutely incredible. We cant say enough about this store. They are very knowledgable about the products they sell and will take the time to show each appliance you purchase. I also absolutely love the fact they service all the products they sell. If you are looking for appliances Metro is were you need to go for a very pleasant pressure free buying experience.

My wife and I love Metro and have bought many appliances here. Their show room is massive giving you a huge variety of products to choose. Being price competitive is important to us and as you’ll see, they are, but the customer service is what makes the experience enjoyable. The salesmen are exceptionally well trained on the products they sell. Our salesman Gerry is always patient with my wife’s exhaustive list of questions and helps us focus on the products that fit our need. And when you need that extra help as we did when we required a propane conversion kit for our range, I gave Gerry a call and he had the appropriate kit waiting for me at the door.
