On March 3rd I walked in to 7th street tattoos around 8pm hoping to making an appointment for a few days later to get a tattoo Ive been wanting for a while...2 sparrows on my back. When they told me Caleb could do it that night I was so excited! It took him about 20 minutes to draw up exactly how it would look and he did fantastic job. The tattoo took almost 3 hours. He was so nice (everyone in the shop was) and stayed late to finish it for me. The final result came out WAY better then I pictured in my head. Three days later I had to move back to NY because of a death in my family. I am so happy I walked into that tatoo shop and very grateful for the work he did. If you ever read this Caleb, Schenectady NY is famous for the Schenectady Massacre during King Williams War in the 1600s. I know we were both trying to figure that out! Thanks for doing a such great job!!

EDIT: Caleb has opened his own shop, Electric Heart, in the Heights, so I no longer go to 7th St. for my tattoos. Ive adjusted my rating to reflect my view of the shop alone. Ive been getting a half sleeve from Caleb (dont know what the guy below me is talking about!) since last summer and it looks amazing! I get compliments on how bright and vibrant the colors are almost every day. Ive even had people stop me in stores to look at it (which is, honestly, a little weird, but I take it as a compliment). We just finished it a few weeks ago and in two days Im booking an appointment with him to do my chest. The environment in the shop is great. Everyone is super friendly and very professional.

Went in on a rainy Monday a few weeks ago. Got there at 2:10. Was told Ashley would get me in 1.5 hours. I was FINaLLy called back at 5:45. The tattoo I got was deeply personal in that the words were from a love letter I received I used their handwriting, which is almost like calligraphy. The numbers are bleeding ink into my skin, its too small to read and I lost 142.00 and some change on the deal. NOT what the hype is all about. At all. I had a headache by the time I left which always indicates an energy clash for me. Ive been getting tattoos for 27 years. One of the worst ones I have. Wish I could post a pic.

My Fiancee and I were in Saturday 07-30-16 for each of us to get some work done while on Vacation! For starters the shop is CLEAN! Theyre professional and definitely know what theyre doing! Angela pierced my nose and she was friendly, patient, precise and explained in detail how to take care of it! I love it and already it is healing nicely! Ashley E did both of my tattoos and my Fiancees tattoo and theyre beautiful! The coloring is great, The lines are straight and exactly what we both wanted! Its a shame we dont live in the area because this would be our go to spot!!

The Salon part is where I go, and my hairstylist CaraBeth is phenomenal. She takes her time and does the best job. My daughter goes too because she is in the stage of wanting wild colored hair and CB is just the best. She recently did a color we call Galaxy, with the colors of those amazing galaxy photos you find. My daughters hair has gotten so many compliments as has my more normal look. Everyone at the Salon and Tattoo parlor are just wonderful to talk to and spend time, you are treated like you are part of their family.

About three years ago, a friend asked me if I wanted to get a tattoo with him, so I said, "Sure!" and half an hour later, we found ourselves at 7th Street Tattoos. I couldnt be happier with the tattoo itself. Its a very simple black tattoo, but I often get compliments on how perfect it is. My tattoo artist was Jud and he was very nice and courteous and professional. I always meant to make my way back there, but I moved from Arkansas before I got the chance. If I ever end up in Arkansas again, I will be sure to visit.

I recently got some work done by Caleb at 7th Street Tattoos. The work was absolutely horrible. The lines were crooked, there were stray marks in weird places, it was totally uneven, etc. Its the sloppiest work Ive ever seen. Its almost like he went and got wasted halfway through the tattoo or something. Im actually even paying a different shop to fix his work rather than go back to him and chance him screwing it up even worse.

I went to Angela just a couple weeks ago to get my nose pierced and she was AMAZING! She was clean, informative, fast, and gentle. Not only that, but she also changed my metal stud to a glass retainer just a day later when I found out about a medical procedure. I really couldnt have asked for a better experience. 7th Street also has some really beautiful jewelry to choose from.

Brought my girlfriend in today to get her piercings stretched. And Angela looked over the other piercings that she had gotten there. This place has a wonderful staffeta who genuinely care about their customers. I have had thtee tattoo artists for my tattoos. All were wonderful. David, Miguel, and Aaron. The best place for tattoos and piercings.

I got my nose pierced here last Saturday, and I had a really great experience. Angela, the piercer, was fantastic. She was so sweet, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about her clients. She made the whole process easy and quick. If I ever need anything else pierced, I will definitely be returning to 7th Street! Highly recommend.

Dont know anything about tats but from a piercing perspective, I had a horrible experience with Angela. I came in to get some jewelry changed and I had to repeat myself several times to get her to understand what I wanted. She seemed flustered and rushed and very distracted. I would definitely not recommend her as a piercer.

I just went to Ashley for my first tattoo, (a cross on my ankle), and she did an amazing job. She was very understanding, gentle and an all around great artist. 7th street is a very clean, professional, friendly environment that I would recommend to anyone. Thank you for making my first tattoo a such pleasurable experience.

i went and got a tattoo by Adriane (not sure if spelled right) and he blew me away! I will definately go back to have him finish my sleeve at the first of the year. Everything was sterile and everyone was very professional and fun to be around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

My first tattoo was done by Miguel. He was really nice and a very talented artist. He made me feel comfortable and the other artists are really nice. The shops atmosphere is calm and youre not made to feel uncomfortable. Ive never had a bad experience here.

I just went and got my industrial by Angela, and she was amazing. I was very scared, but she assured me I was in good hands and made it quick and as painless as possible. Im definitely going to go to her for all of my piercings. I wouldnt go to anyone else.
