My friend wanted to get her first tattoo of an arrow(extremely basic and only about 3 inches long). We called and were told that there would be someone available for walk-ins and drove an hour from where we live to get there. When we showed up, the apprentice (who answered the phone and told us someone would be available) was the only one there. He then proceeded to convince my friend that he could easily do her tattoo. She really wanted to get it and it was simple enough we figured you couldnt really mess it up. I have two tattoos of my own and have seen plenty of other people get them done so I noticed a few things were off. First off, he took extremely long to set up. He kept playing with the gun settings and speeds and settled on something that seemed very low. That is when I started to get concerned but my friend had already paid upfront and we didnt want to leave. Almost 45 minutes of him "tattooing" a tiny arrow on her shoulder later we were ready to leave. Before we could, he kept tugging and pulling at different parts of her sore shoulder to check what spots he missed and hurting his customer. This whole time, another artist walked in about fifteen minutes in to the process and continued to be loud, obnoxious, and ignoring the clearly struggling customer less than ten yards away to attend to his girl friend. Now, a week later, her wobbly and gap filled arrow has now faded to a pencil lead color and when we call, the apprentice is the one answering phones and still pushing his services. We are driving to Ames tonight to get her tattoo basically completely re done. I will not return or recommend this place to others.

The shop itself is nothing like Ive ever seen before. It was so open, the guys were very friendly, the music was different (which was very refreshing) and overall very clean. Let me not forget the bathroom! Dont forget to use it, its badass. My artist was really cool, very thorough in his explanation of aftercare as well. I will say Im not 100% happy with my tattoo. Obviously, its not as bright as the day I got it, which is expected. But if you look closely you can see the outline stand out more than the color filled it, as if it wasnt blended well or the fill in color wasnt filled in enough. One of the major lines isnt straight, but I guess I could blame that on the lines on my achilles tendon? Also, a piece is missing that was never tattooed. Not terribly worried about it because its small, between the ankle bone and achilles tendon on the inside of my left foot. Doubt anyone will get that close, but I know its not there so its annoying. What was really interesting is they offer free touch ups up to six months after your original appointment! Ive never had that offered before. Overall, the experience was great, my tattoo is just okay.

When I went I got a piercing, a helix one. The girl didnt get the needle through all the way on the first try but still tried to stick the piercing piece in. Let me tell you, it was insanely painful and there was a lot of blood. Went to another piercer at my now favorite shop and they said there might be some issues healing.

Not very impressed at all. Just had some wording and a very simple design on my finger and it just doesnt look good. I feel if you own or are working in a tattoo shop or in the business you should have some visable tattoos. My artist didnt have any visable and also wasnt very personal. Felt very uncomfortable. Very expensive

Love this place!! I got my sons name on my forearm in a very fancy font while each letter is filled in with two colors and it was worth every penny!! Very clean and safe environment. The owner is a very friendly guy and the rest of the artists are awesome too. I will definitely be going back again!

I went in with my bestie and got matching tats. Nothing fancy but we walked in and they got us in right away! Great job tatting, very clean, sterilizes everything, great music playing, and good pricing! Zachary was the guy who got us and he did amazing!
