I recommend ANY other tattoo shop if you are African-American. Yes, I am black and so is my boyfriend. The looks and service that my boyfriend and I got were disgusting. When we walked in, we werent greeted, in fact the clerk rolled his eyes, and stared at us as if we didnt belong, or walked into kkk meeting!!!! So my boyfriend completely ignored him, he figured the guy was having a bad day so we went on with our inquiries and throughout the consultation he was constantly staring at us as if he was irritated by us asking simple questions. I had already drawn my conclusion that I was not going to be serviced there!!! PERIOD!!! Once i got my bf to realize they were RACISTS we quietly left!!! And im happy to say that I will NEVER EVER go back there and DAMN sure wont recommend ANY family members or friends to this place!! What a shame it is to have to live in a world like this!!!

jerry is a great tattoo artist and piercer, i have gotten all my tattoos and piercings done and i have never heard of anyone complaining of him being creepy or perverted towards girls. he is not a registered sexual predator if he was he wouldnt have been able to open a shop,and you would think if the sexual favors were true you wouldnt post it on the internet. and no offense but it was your choice to get your vagina pierced and as a tattoo and piercer he has to do what you wish. and as far as the jail time, he did not spend time in prison for meth manufacturing he spent time for selling marijuana when he was a teenager, gurantee everyone on this page has smoked before. take your inappropriate and very false comments somewhere else. i dont think you understand how much comments like that can ruin someones business.

Highly skilled artist, friendly, professional. Excellent high grade equipment and inks. Positive atmosphere good vibe. I was recommended this place by a coworker. I had just had just got burned hard by a very unprofessional, zero talent scratcher den shop known as Indigo Body Art Gallery. Indigo refused to touch up or compensate me and actually threatened me to get out of their shop when all I did was ask for a simple touch up, Indigo called the cops on me so they could steal my money. So I went to Hot Spot and the professionalism was outstanding. Line work absurdly good. I feel bad I had to have him fix Indigos total fuckup! I dont even think this will need a touch up. I will definitely return to Hotspot!

My friend and I came in and got our lips pierced. I had recommended Hot Spot after I had gotten my nose pierced there several years ago by Jerry and it was excellent, healed very well and had very little pain. Today was fantastic as well. The shop is very clean as always. The workers are great at keeping things sterile. Workstations are well organized. I felt very comfortable and was happy I wasnt rushed and was listened too on piercing position. I felt almost nothing when I was being pierced and it was over quickly and it already feels great. The people at this shop are top notch. I will continue to got to Hot Spot and recommend it to my friends.

Jerry is awesome!!! His staff is great and the place is clean!! Jerry is very professional and also a fun guy!! Had multiple friends and family go there for tattoos and piercings and they each raved about their experience with Jerry and how much they loved their tattoos!! Jerry is not a bad guy. I havent gone in for a tattoo, personally, but a friend and I went in for piercings, and she got really light-headed after getting hers done, and he took a break from working with another person to help her, get her something to drink and some kind of candy to help her feel better. He is not a pervert, people need to stop being so stupid.

Savana (sorry if I spelt it wrong!) did an amazing job on my piercing. She made sure that I wanted my cartilage piercing in the perfect spot. She showed me the sterilized equipment beforehand and had a guy (forgot his name) watch her procedure and double checked everything. They were very clean and precise. I would recommend going here!

I have over 10 tattoos - some from different places, but Hot Spot is where I always end up going back to. Jerry has done tattoos for myself, my sister, as well as my dad. My sister and I have also got multiple piercings there. All very happy with his work and shop atmosphere! From now on, Ill never go anywhere else!

Jerry does such a great job!!! He has done 2 tattoos for me now and I love them both. He is very artistic and precise. Also, he is so easy to talk to that it takes your mind off of what is going on and youre finished before you know it! I have plans for 2 more and he will definitely be doing them both!!!

Jerry is by far the most professional tattoo artist around. He has done 2 cover ups and some additional tattoos as well, they all have turned out great! If you are looking to get a tattoo, and want it done right, professionally, and done in a clean environment go to hotspot.

Love this place for piercings! Always a great price and experience, Jerry obviously takes great care in his work no matter the piercing. (Havent had the pleasure of a tattoo yet, but Im sure will happen). Ive visited on 3 occasions and will definitely visit in the future.
