I visited the Petsense store in Batesville, AR Thursdays Aug 4th! WOW!! WHAT AN AMAZING STAFF! But most of all the young women CARLA is THE BEST, you couldnt find anyone anywhere with the kindness and the love in her heart for animals and people! My Tank had very long nails he bits and will not let me trim him! I had an job interview in Batesville and decided to drop him off for a nail trim and possible shampoo! Well NO WAY was my TANK going to allow anyone come near him! He had tore his nail and he was not happy! He normally takes a few minutes to warm up to people but he is very protective, but usually in your face in 2 seconds..all sugar!! Not Thursday. Carla was amazing with him ..set right down middle of floor several times becoming his friend on his level . .she was the only one he would allow to pet him!! There was no way he would allow them to trim his nails or me.. I told her about my interview she said I got him; he will be fine go to your interview and good luck!! Really?? I felt so bad leaving him but he had totally calmed down and I slipped out the door! When I returned he was perfectly fine still standoffish to everyone else but not CARLA! She gave me directions for my interview and even gave me a list of vets in the area that I could contact regarding Tanks nails and establishing a local vet as to I hope to be moving to the area very soon! Honestly I had never heard of Petsense ..Petco. Or Petsmart yes but never PETSENSE! The store was amazingly clean, fresh water at the door for your pet and the employees GO THE EXTRA MILE! I will definitely make it a point to locate a Petsense from now on when traveling and you bet Tank and I will be back in Batesville to see Carla again!
