I called my local Walmart at 455 East Wetmore in Tucson, Arizona on September 9th, 2013 looking to preorder a Playstation 4. The sales associate told me that they had preorders available. I then asked if their store would have a midnight release of the console on November 15th at 12:01am. The sales associated said they were going to have one. I then asked him to ask his manager. The manager also verified that the store would have a midnight release. I then went into the store and preordered the console where once again they promised a midnight release of the console. That is 3 associated that I spoke with. I assumed they would stay true to their word and I preordered the console. I waited and waited preparing for the midnight release. On the morning of November 14th, I called the Walmart to see if a line had grown outside the store in anticipation for the PS4. The store associate was confused and then told me that the store was no longer holding a midnight release for the console. I asked if my money could be refunded so I could take my business elsewhere after they went back on their promise to me. He told me that I could not get a refund on my item unless I was present (which would cost me 30$ in a taxi ride to get up there) and then he told me the money would not be refunded for 5-10 business days completely robbing me of the opportunity to experience the midnight release of the Playstation console. He also told me that there way NO possible way it could be refunded over the phone. I paid $535.13 in September only because Walmart was having a midnight release. I am VERY upset that I will be missing the one time console release I was waiting months for. Rather I will have to wait till 6am on Friday to receive my console. Not only that but I cant receive my refund in time to take my business to a Gamestop or Best Buy who are actually doing midnight releases.

Horrible customer service. As soon as I told the associate im ad matching she seemed upset that there was going to be extra work involved. Then she told me she would only do it if I had the ads. I told you guys normally have the ads but if need be i can go to my car and pull them out to look at no problem, or on the phone. At that point she said whatever and asked me the prices. The first store I priced matched the water from food city she said we dont do that store. I told her every other Walmart Ive been to has from that store. I told her if this is an inconvenience for you i can talk to a manager. She then asked another associate if they priced matched that store and she said yes. The other associate came over and helped scan the rest of the items with the gun as we priced matched with no problem, she displayed great customer service. As I left the original associate told me dont get used to this price matching because were getting rid of it soon. I believe the second associate was a manager. I never seen anybody get upset about doing there job, I wont shop at this location any more.

First I would like to say that the manager of this Wal-Mart should know that you have some of the most wonderful cashiers working for the store . Its been awhile since Ive been treated with such kindness and patients. The young man that works in elevtronics, I sorry that I didnt get his name, but if he reads this,, he will know that its him Im speaking of. And the beautiful woman who has the register where you have to buy cigarettes at, was just as wonderful,kind and patients as the young man in electronics. MANGERS I really hope that all of you really start to look at these wonderful workers,and see just how lucky you all are to have people like this,I also wanted to let you know that they have the best customer service, and I really felt very good being taken care of the best in my eyes. Many years ago I was assistance manager over at the Foothills Wal-Mart I wish I could had co workers as good as you have there. Made sure that you keep the ones that make their customers coming back.... kudos kudos and more! Thank you, it was a great experience and pleasure shopping there.

Update: So I decided to give another try, makes me glad the neighborhood Walmart will hopefully open sometime in March 2017 on E Fort Lowell. You know those yummy assorted flavors big bags of swedish fish? Checked online, many locations including this one had buy online pickup in store so its gotta be in stock right? No not here, I wasnt waiting in line at service desk, cashier couldnt help. Finally found a food stocker, without even looking it up (like they do at Target) just said no whats on the shelf is all we got which we both saw were the all reds. I guess next time I will buy online and pickup at another store! It reminds me of a hybrid between neighborhood market walmart and a supercenter which is a bad thing. The grocery area is very small for a walmart goto a neighborhood walmart instead even if its a little out of your way and save the headaches on site to store pickup all THAT counter will do is say goto electronics where you wait another 20 mins just for them to go start finding your item. Quick and fast? Yeah... not at this one! Avoid. There are better nearby

Really not the best walmart. thats for sure. I have never seen employees yell at a customer for asking for help in a department they are not assigned to work .(do they even have departments? in fairness only one employee rudely yelled, but he did it twice) The best part was when i was in the area that games and dvds are sold, and a guy that was clearly some sort of higher up manager turned around and walked away from me twice because he was worried i would bug him with a question. I didnt want any help, i was just walking, but it was awesome to experience this bad of customer service. Anyone has ever worked a customer service job really needs to take a trip to this walmart. Taking a minute to just observe the employees on the floor, and how they will avoid you like the plague(minus the greeter) and you will be blown away. add this to how filthy the floors were, and shelves of products that had not be attended to in months, you will get an experience that must be seen to be believed. that why i gave a generous 2 stars

On the date of 06/28/16 i went to Walmart on the wetmore location in search of a full size air mattress turns out went I got home to check if it was ok due to the fact that the item seemed like it was open I thought nothing bad of it because people always mess with things but when I opened it to check if it was ok I came to find that this air mattress was previously used smell terribly strong like cigarettes, feet, and had duck tape for patches I mean the worst experience that I have ever had when buying an item that you think is new and to think that I was comfortable with the idea of letting my kids take it in the box without checking it makes me sick to my stomach Walmart employees and who ever is encharged arent doing their job well enough to make sure that what their selling isnt used returned junk putting customers in risk with these types of incidents very unhappy and disscusted I dont think I will ever shop here again much rather go else where like target pay extra maybe for better quality.
