I have never given anyone a review before but this place deserves it. My husband and I were headed back to Austin TX when our tire went flat. We got there right around closing but they took the time to look at it. While we were waiting the owner came over and was very friendly making conversation. They were not able to help us because they did not have the tire and we could not wait till the next day. However he did tell us were 2 good tire stores were and wrote down the names of who we needed to ask for there. After all that including taking the tire off testing it and putting spare on the guy did not even charge us. The whole staff went above and beyond and when I am back in the Vail area I know who has my business and everyone else I know headed that way. A great place that really knows how to take care of people....

This place is absolutely the best auto repair shop in the Vail valley!! I was given inside information by a twelve year resident here, and, believe me, as the owner of an old truck, I have been taken advantage of before. I know when a mechanic sees dollar signs in my desperation, and here, I found empathy. Charlie, the head wrench, he works miracles. I left a believer, gratuitous, which is rare in my situation, hence the review. Thank you again VDT&A. From reception, to my credit card, to my key back in my hand: This crew is the definition of honest automotive service. Its a hidden gem in Eagle-Vail!!! If you didnt know already, than you know now. This is the best place in the valley. I have been to Big O and they are so rude, incompetent, and try to upsell me on crap I dont need everytime. Oh they also "lost" my key to my tires so thats awesome too. Vail Discount or now Point S Tire Vail have respect for you as a customer, are knowledable, and dont pressure you into things that you dont want/need. I trust them with my car to give it the care it needs and not to overcharge me like EVERY other mechanic in this valley. I am only going to them from now on.

100,000$ car with special parts. Ordered parts directly from the dealership and they would not accept it. Lmao. What a joke. Probably put in cheap REMANUFACTURED parts and wanna charge you full price for them....which is why they wont accept parts from a DEALERSHIP and will only replace parts and make repairs with their own parts.
