Went in today to have a piece of single pane glass cut, and installed into the aluminum frame. Jeff originally said he could cut the glass, once was done cutting something for another customer who was waiting. I completely understood and waited in the store for him to complete everything. After a few minutes Jeff came out from the back stating he was going to talk to his boss, to see if they wanted him to cut the glass or not. I could hear from aisles away that Jeff was not fully comfortable cutting the glass, in fear of doing it wrong. On Jeff"s first attempt to reassemble the window frame, it was clear he had cut the glass too long on at least one side. On his second attempt, Jeff had the glass in th frame tightly, but I was worried that once he put any tension with screwing the frame together, that the glass would break from pressure. It was at this point that Jeff gave up, and told me I would have to take it somewhere else. He then proceeded to assemble the frame incorrectly (the felt strips were no all on the same side afterward), and was using Phillips screwdrivers that did not have a sharp enough tip to correctly get into the screw head. Take your glass elsewhere!

Over the past 4 weeks i have brought 3 screens to be rescreened, the first was done correctly, the 2nd one was also done correctly but they tried to charge me for sunscreen instead of bug screen,the 3rd one was different. they tried to charge me for sunscreen again. after 1 week they called and said it was done. the screen was bent and the material was rippled.I would not take it, I called today and they said it would be done in an hour, 2 hours later I went to pick it up, over 10 days and it was not fixed. A man named Kent said it was fine. he said they had a new guy that was not going to do them anymore then he started complaining about the number of screens and why do we wait to bring them in, I said I would help and not come back anymore, he said fine dont, i wish I had too much work

I have been going to this ACE for about 6 months now. Very friendly staff and always there for my questions & they always have an answer. Im tired of the big box stores and their lack of customer service. .. that doesnt happen at ACE. They dont hesitate to refer me elsewhere if they dont carry an item. The prices are fair & staff is very knowledgeable! ACE is My Place from now on!!!

I entered and was not greeted, I said "good morning" and I did not get a response. If I wasnt in a hurry I would have shopped elsewhere. Once I was buying what i wad there for, then I got a "good morning," but first impressions are everything. 2 stars because the employee in the back did ask me if I needed anything and that they carried what I needed.

Thought I would go to Valley Ace Hardware as it was more convenient than Home Depot or Lowes. After the extremely poor customer service and their highly overpriced merchandise I will go the extra two miles to have a much better and higher quality selection with better prices plus customer service that always takes great care of their customers.

Convenient and close! They pack a lot of services and products in a small store. Very helpful, unlike the big stores. Rented a power snake for a clogged drain. Guy showed me how to use it and helped me load it in my truck. Nice to know Im supporting local business owners, as well!

I love this store! Great customer service, friendly atmosphere, very knowledgeable employees. Julie (assistant manager) is always on top of her game and quick to lend suggestions if Ace doesnt carry what I need.

Ive been to many Aces lately and have been disappointed in their personnel... this Ace is an exception. The folks are helpful, but not overbearing like the other ACE stores. I like this one!
