We have lived in Sun Lakes since 2009 after moving from a Minneapolis, MN suburb. Minnesotans are typically known for their warm & happy dispositions & earned the nickname "Minnesota Nice" over the years. Unfortunately, our experiences with the personnel working in this particular store leaves a great deal to be desired as they mostly seem like they just dont want to be bothered. When you do stop an employee to ask a question or two, they act like youre imposing on their "space". I imagine that there would be a ton of "negative" reviews on this particular establishment but most of the customers are retirees living within the neighboring communities. These mostly elderly customers simply dont take the time or effort required to bring it to the attention of the proprietors to hire employees who actually CARE about their customer base & therefore about their jobs as well. Theres another ACE hardware to our north in Chandler, AZ & we have chosen to use that store instead of putting up with employees & an establishment who seem to be only interested in not treating customers as they would want to be treated themselves. One STAR is being quite "kind" for this store without question!
