My husband and I came back after a little dinner at Roka and I stuck with the sorbets and yogurts per my plan and I wasnt disappointed this time. I tried a lot of flavors but ultimately decided on the Grapefruit Strawberry Mint Sorbet (maybe it was called Mojito - it definitely had grapefruit in it though) and a scoop of the Desert Honey Nonfat Yogurt. Both flavors were delicious. I tried their Mango Lassi while we were there and they inspired me to make my own this weekend. I added a pinch of cardamom and some rose water to mine. So good. I love it when a restaurant inspires you. I will definitely be back to Sweet Republic. There are more flavors that they rotate in that I have on my wish list to try.

Ive been wanting to check out Sweet Republic ever since reading Michele Laudigs blog on New Times about their Salted Butter Caramel. Im glad I finally did. The caramel was deliciously creamy with a hint of salt to contrast the sweetness. Other interesting flavors included Basil Lime sorbet, Mango Lassi yogurt and a Blue Cheese and Date ice cream - wow that was surprisingly good. Sweet Republic is hidden away inside a small strip center next to Jade Palace. The decor is modern retro with lots of comfortable seating and the service was very friendly. Ill definitely be back.

Despite how nice he was, the teenage counter boy totally judged me when I ordered a double scoop right after devouring a cup of triple scoop. Not the best ice cream Ive had and a little pricier than most places, but definitely good enough for my afternoon recess time when I just want to indulge in being fat and alone. Get: salted butter caramel, peanut butter chip, lavender, white rose, medjool date Add: toasted marshmallow, bacon brittle bits Try: everything (like I shamelessly did)

Tasty, unique ice creams and sorbets. We were taken here by some locals (were here from LA) and loved it. I was a little disappointed they didnt give a heads up about the way toppings work. The person serving my ice cream didnt even ask if I would like any, they just passed it on to the person at the register. Here, you have to tell them what toppings you want when you order your flavors bc they mix them in. I ordered two scoops in a cone and was not able to go back.

Ice cream is so good!! Even if you are ordering a flavor you normally eat I would try it first because the ingredients are fresh, for example mint chip is good but has real mint leaves so it is very strong. Also if you take some home it wont last more than a couple of weeks at most because the lack of preservatives and other chemicals, which I love about sweet republic. Not to mention Bacon Brittle and all the retro candies at the register!!!!

This is the spot!! Right down the street from where we live so its been a doozy discovering this place. If you love waffle cones, this is the creme de la creme of spots for it. Shoot, if you HATE waffle cones... grab one here! Youll understand why everyone else made theirs wrong. I think angels from heaven deliver the waffle batter every Tuesday, so I heard.

A small paradise off Shea and scottsdale. One of the finest ice cream shops in the valley. Never tasted anything like the campfire smore. Now that I live far off from this place, cant frequent as much as id love to. Most whole foods in Scottsdale have their Gelato from this place, and it never goes wrong. The Basil Lime sorbet is a winner too.

We heard about Sweet Republic through the Food Network show, The Best Thing I Ever Ate. After sampling a couple flavors, my wife and I got a single scoop ($2.95) of Huckleberry and Salted Butter Caramel. The scoops were great! I cant wait to come back for the Toffee Banofi, a recommendation from Alton Brown of the Food Network! :-D

Small place in the strip mall at 92nd and Shea (nw corner). Expensive ice cream - I get it. It was good but I have no reason to go back. It was 3 stars out of 5. I do not understand some of the fuss for ICE CREAM prices are way upscale hence my pricey price range noted. Took the kids and paid way too much for ice cream.

My daughters and I had just finished some miniature golf at the indoor golf place in the same plaza as Sweet Republic and decided to go treat ourselves to some ice cream. I am SO glad we did! Seriously some of the best ice cream I have ever had.... and I have had a lot. So yes, if you are near there go! It is fantastic.

Honestly, I prefer gelato to ice cream. But if Im going for ice cream this is the place. The flavors are rich and nuanced. Ice cream is...creamy. their sundaes will knock your socks off. And lest you not be inclined to have ice cream, Their walnut chocolate chip cookies are some of the best Ive ever had.

This was our second stop on our ice cream day! This place was also exceptional. Great ice cream flavor options and sorbet. I could not decide which was better between here and Churn. If you love ice cream check them both out! The parking here is a little more forgiving since it is strip mall style.

Been eating here since they opened almost 10 years ago. Helen, Jan, and the entire staff understand what great products and great service means. There is a reason that this place is on so many "top" lists and thats because this is some of the best ice cream you will ever have. Period!

Tasty ice cream and interesting flavors. The hand crafted texture really comes through. Prices are a bit inflated for the portions received. Cant say Ill make a special drive but if in the area, with a bit of extra cash in my pocket, I would stop again.

The ice cream was very good, but a bit spendy. Of course, I did go for the sunday. Good portion size, good quality ice cream, and great toppings. The roasted marshmallow was a particularly big hit in our group, and the CSRs roasted it perfectly!

1st time here, we came for dessert after dinner and everyone was satisfied with their flavor choices. Amazingly enough they had coffee for the wife and I dont mean ice cream coffee which they do but also regular coffee coffee, lol.

This place is alright, not my favorite but still good. They didnt really have the flavors I prefer. Dont think Ill be going out of my way to go here, but if youre in the neighborhood and looking for something sweet, go for it.

Very friendly staff and good ice cream but very expensive. Was nice to go one time but would never go again. Got 2 double scoops and a milkshake...was $17. Just can see the value there to go back a second time.

They take all the risks not being just another typical ice cream store. They deserve 5 stars if anyone in ice cream does. I wish they were closer to my home. Then Id never consider ice cream anywhere else.
