Ordered the Oregon Contractor Reference Manual on Wednesday 12/16/15 @ 10:38AM. Emailed to cancel the order at 10:53AM. Called to cancel order in the late afternoon after no response. UPS had already picked up the package per seller. Requested to cancel the order. Told would get a call back tomorrow. No call back. Called again on 12/18/15, requested to return package to sender and pay restocking fee. Confirmed by seller. UPS notification of sender return made on 11:41AM on 12/21/15 but the package was already on truck for delivery. Packaged delivered. Fast shipping, but poor response time to cancel request. I understand there is a no return policy. I wanted to cancel the order from day 1.

I sent the Builders Book Depot THREE email regarding a book that I ordered. I still havent heard back from them. The book I ordered is no longer a required text for a test that Im preparing to take. I just wanted to find out if I had any options regarding return/exchange. I believe customer service is extremely important. I will never order from Builders Book Depot again. Im also going to inform my instructor and the other 180+ colleagues preparing for the exam.

I have been doing business with Builders Book Depot for over 5 years. They have GREAT customer service all the girls are very nice and efficient. They are very dependable, the books get here when they say they will! I am not sure why these negative reviews They are an outstanding business!

I happen to love Builders Book Depot. They are a local business and have been in the same location for 26 years. Everyone who I have spoken to have been very friendly and knowledgeable. Ive never had a problem getting a response by email from them either. Bonus--they have same day shipping!
