This business is quiet and clean, making it a cut above the average used bookstore. I could not begin to see it all in a day because I spent three hours perusing a six feet wide section. Figuring this store has more than 500 feet of shelving space, six feet high, I would need 83 days, at three hours a day, to see everything; but that is only if I looked at every section with the interest and intensity I exhibited toward the section I searched. You are certain to find more than you can afford if you are one who enjoys real, live books made of paper and ink. HOW I RATE BUSINESSES 5 stars = makes customers kings and queens, or offers superior product(s); crushes competitors that offer similar service and product(s). 4 stars = provides something extra for customers, or offers better than average product(s). 3 stars = provides good service and good product(s). 2 stars = provides low quality customer service or product(s). 1 star = fails in customer service or product(s); you suck; please go out of business.

Mike Reilly is the most knowledgeable expert (not just my opinion-it is common knowledge) on so much, but I have only consulted him regarding antique books, and I have learned over several years, that his reputation precedes him, but cannot do him justice. I have never met someone considered an expert (on anything) whom I have felt totally comfortable with immediately. Mr Reilly is that extremely rare person whose specialized expertise is in high demand, far beyond the geographical boundaries of our city, but who is so comfortably, and GENEROUSLY, willing to enlighten those of us who are completely unaware of all the minutia regarding antique books.

Was looking for a few classic cook books and I was told to head to the Book Gallery and when I got there, well lets just say, died and went to literary heavan. Found above and beyond of what I was looking for and Randy was more than knowledgable on many categories and handled the flow of traffic nicely. I highly recommend this store for all ages and all walks of life. They even have a discount program, inquire about it. Thanks again for the awesome experience. Cleveland has stores like this but not as organzied.

This is a great place! Theres definitely a large selection, going all the way from used paperbacks to high quality signed first editions. The price range matches the selection. The gentleman working was quiet but helpful when I purchased a book. He made a great recommendation on another author who was similar to the book I bought. I thought it was great because I knew the other authors work. And the atmosphere was complete with used book/library smell. ;P

Always has the older or more obscure books that Im looking for. If youre in enough the staff will remember you by name and what type of books you like, which is very impressive to me since I cant remember what day of the week it is half the time.
