So, I used to love this place. The prices were lower than any other place. However, now they are under new ownership and sprouts matches or beats their prices on just about everything and it is better quality. The last time I went there I mentioned that it was no longer cost effective to shop there and that I could price match or bargain at other grocers with weekly adds and that sprouts, the most expensive super market beats their produce prices, the cashier told me to go shop at sprouts then and they are local. News flash, so is sprouts, and the quality is far superior, and I can get it organic and still pay less. Then the employee told me again to go shop at sprouts if its so much cheaper. I will never again shop here or recommend anyone to shop here. Plus, Walmart price matches them if their prices do go down again.

I found this place accidentally whilst trying to see if they sell nuts and being propositioned by a hooker out front. Thats the one thing their prices suck on: Nuts & seeds. They charge more than at Frys so theres no reward on that front! Gotta go to Trader Joes. The fruit/veggies look good and are cheap BUT Id pay attention to expiration dates. Citrus is all over the ground here, why even pay for that? Since when did it become fashionable to sell BJs in front of a produce store in your 50s anyway? Whos buying that, granny-chasers? Theres also a senior man living on the streets locally in an electric scooter, ya think you could get the cops on that detail?

This is by far the best "farmers" type market I have ever been to. The prices are fantastic, especially on produce and fruits which are "in season." Occasionally the quality is below that of full price supermarkets, so you have to be selective when choosing items. But you have to do the same in regular supermarkets, so its no big deal. As an example of their extraordinarily low prices, today they had 5 red (bell) peppers for $1.00!!! Incredible, since regular stores sell them at $1 apiece - or more. They also have a great selection of dried fruits and old time candies at competitive prices. Give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

I love the $$ and the seasonal fruits and vegetables. There are local "extras", such as breads, tortillas, spices, and special goodies. I shop here weekly and try to get in early am on the weekdays. Busy on weekends but its worth every moment. Great vegetables!! Deliveries are going on all the time and they have REAL food. Be prepared to wash, and chop. This is great, real food. Not prepackaged or frozen solid, canned or nuked. Its got dirt on it, and I love it. If you want real food, stop by. All has.... true taste!!! Always a treat. (Plus the $ is real too, inexpensive plus taste...cant miss)

Great prices all the time. Theres no waiting for a sale to get a good deal. FYI good organic produce doesnt last long because its not showered in preservative chemicals. When produce spoils quickly its not a sign of low quality its proof that there wasnt preservatives sprayed all over the food youre eating. Everything Ive ever ate from there tasted fresh & full of flavor. I usually never post reviews but felt the need to write this BC I read a review saying the produce is low quality BC it spoiled quickly, on the contrary, its just a good sign of it being organic.

We recently moved from out of state and searched up this place for everyday produce. The prices are great and staff is helpful and friendly but the quality of vegetables and fruits is awful. Produce dont last even few days. I would rather pay $2.50 for a pint of strawberries and enjoy it than pay $1.00 and end up throwing in the garbage. I will not shop there anymore because I think this place carries low grade produce. Sorry to say but nothing tastes good. Please rake it as a constructive criticism :)

I have given this place many opportunities to change and still receive poor product. Their vegetables are always moldy and never fresh. Even when sorting for decent produce, it goes bad the very next day. Horrible produce! Even worse, their employees at the register dont even know the vegetables when they ring them up. I had to tell the cashier what they were, lol! Save your time and go to Power Road Farmers Market, a lot better quality and last a lot longer. Will never return here!!!!

Great place to get fresh produce at a fantastic price. They have a good selection of fruits and vegetables. A lot better selection and lower price than what you can find at a larger grocery store. The store can be very busy at times, but the cashiers are courteous and friendly. They try to get customers out as quickly as they can. Like other stores, you do need to watch out for produce that should be thrown out. Overall, I recommend this market!

My wife shops here often. Great prices. I hear this place gets a lot of stuff that the better known supermarkets pass on. They have quality product but you have to pick through. We notice they have fruits and vegetables so ripe that you have to use very quickly or risk it spoiling. Buy only what youll be sure to use within a couple days. Best of used immediately. They even have organics from time to time. Great place to shop in the East valley.

Always a great selection at rock bottom prices. You have to pick through some things because they dont seem to sort the good from the bad produce but all in all the prices make that task worth the time. They also have a great selection of local sundries, jams and jellies, nuts, pickles, hot sauce, its all there. I fill a shopping cart for under 20 bucks and even on a busy Saturday Im in and out in 15 minutes.

Love the produce and prices. The customer service has not been great lately. The last few times I have been in the cashiers are more interested in talking to each other than making the customer feel important. I have not even been told hello the last few times I have been been checking out. I go for the produce but I would not return if I based it on customer service.

First time here, and love the organic fruits n veggies! Cant beat the prices... 3 cantaloupe for $1 (but theyre super ripe), 12oz blackberry $1.50, strawberry clamshell the big one 50 cent, butternut squash 25 cent a lb, asparagus 89 cent a lb, case of red, orange n yellow bell pepper $2.00! Thanks to my friend Edna for telling me about this place!

I also filled my cart for just under $30. The prices here are absolutely amazing. I drive from El Mirage all the way to Mesa specifically to go to this Farmers Market. Sure I use a little more gas but the savings I get from shopping here instead of a grocery store is well worth it! I will always return here for my produce.
